The sin of homosexuality is rampant in our culture today and readily accepted. Does God hate the homosexual? No! And those who represent God in this way are in sin themselves. God loves the person who is caught in this sin. We need to be careful to stand up for the truth that God can and will set the homosexual free.

Sadly, just like the young Levitical priest in today's message, there are pulpits across America filled with so called ministers of the Gospel that are only in it for the money...pastoring, teaching the Word of God is only a career to them and not a calling. BEWARE, for God's Word says a stricter judgment is reserved for those in leadership.

Unfortunately, Pastor Terry is completely right. Many of today's modern churches haven't been established upon the principles of the Word of God. Instead, they were created under the corporate model with a particular product that they want to market and sell. Many churches have become mere social clubs that are the opiate of the masses.

When are we the most fruitful for God? Is it when we exert our best effort and excel in some area of service? How about when we give a substantial amount at church? Actually, what we learn from the life of Samson is that when we die to ourselves and our own agenda, THIS is when we bear the most fruit unto God.

Men, takes the words of exhortation from Pastor Terry to heart. The scantily dressed woman at the office is deadly to you! If you make the decision to pursue a sexually immoral woman, you will be utterly destroyed! Be faithful to the wife that God has blessed you with and flee with all that is within you from the immoral woman.

It's easy to get the wrong idea that Samson's power came from his long hair. But, as we just heard from Pastor Terry, Samson's strength had nothing to do with his long hair...it was the dunamis power of the Holy Spirit flowing through Samson. And even though Samson experienced this power, he fell far short of his potential with God.

God created man an woman to be together...to complete one another. As Pastor Terry said, the husband and wife are supposed to be a team. So, husbands we need to be quick to listen to our wives if they've heard something from the LORD. And wives, don't hold back...if the LORD has revealed something to you, share it with your husbands.

The Bible says that our tongues are swords. We can cause a great deal of damage and pain just by the words we choose to use. That's why we need to walk in the truth of the Word that says, be quick to listen and slow to speak.

There's an easy way to learn a lesson and then there's the hard way. Why is it that we can't seem to learn the easy way? We see the result if bad decisions in other people's lives and the consequences that they bring and yet we go head long into the choices! Heed the exhortation from the LORD, learn from Him the easy way.

Parents, have you ever notices the relief on your child's face after they've been disciplined? It's almost like they're happy to be brought back into a place of blessing and safety. As parents we have a high calling to live out the very truths that we are attempting to teach our children...not just words, but truth in action.

Did you hear that a moment ago from Pastor Terry? Leadership reflects the people. This should cause us to shutter when we think about the wickedness of this nation. What kind of leader will God allow because the sinfulness and wickedness that prevails here in America...only time will tell.

When a bank teller is trained to spot counterfeit money, they aren't given fake money to examine...they're given real bills. Why? Because a fake, a lie is MUCH easier to see when the truth is understood. The same it true in our lives. Don't spend your time considering the ways of the enemy...just follow after God and you won't be deceived.

Our hearts long for the day when Jesus will return and judge the wickedness of this fallen kingdom...when He will establish His Holy Kingdom of righteousness! As the days seem to be becoming more evil than ever, this desire grows.

Sometimes in our zeal and fervor for the LORD we make wrong decisions. As we just heard from Pastor Terry, it's natural for believer's to want to be led by godly people. But, sometimes in our pursuit of that godly leader, we instead accept what Pastor Terry calls a bramble...someone not intended to lead.

One of the natural tendencies that we have a fallen creatures is to desire the credit when we do something good. But, how can we demand credit when the source of all good isn't part of our flesh? Anything good that comes from our lives flows from the grace and mercy provided by the Father...so He should receive all the glory and honor.

A nagging question keeps popping up in today's study...have you been broken? Now, you might say, 'oh yes, I went forward at a Bible teaching church and got saved when I was 5.' But, were you broken before the LORD? If you weren't, that breaking before Him must still take place. When we're broken He can use us.

The story of Gideon is one that is often quoted when a person is trying to determine God's will...we talk about 'laying a fleece' before the LORD like Gideon did. Today we learn that when Gideon became completely convinced of God's leading in His life, his natural response was to worship.

Have you ever thought that you had something valuable and important to offer God...that you were something special? Well, this is one of the prideful lies of the enemy. The Scriptures declare that there is nothing good in us. Anything good that comes forth from our lives comes directly from God and His gifting.

There are many callings within the Body of Christ. But, one of the most noble, the most important in God's Kingdom is that of a mother. God can use you mom to teach and admonish your children in the ways of the LORD...just like Deborah.

Today we see a perfect example of how God can and does use women within His Body to minister to the saints. Deborah was a judge in Israel and God used her to stir up the king in order to accomplish His will. She also spoke God's Word with a prophetic edge.

Sadly, what Pastor Terry just shared is clearly the truth. There are countless churches all across America that are committed to providing entertainment through various methods to their congregations rather than simply teaching the truths of God's Word.

There are different positions of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. As we just heard from Pastor Terry, the most blessed position is when the Holy Spirit overflows your life. When this happens, God begins to extend Himself through you to accomplish His will in this lost and dying world.

In the midst of trying times...struggles and heartache God often times calls us to take steps of faith. Now, these steps of faith aren't easy. But as we just heard from Pastor Terry, it's in these times that we see the most blessing and God's clear hand of guidance and direction...when we take steps of faith even when it's hard.

In today's culture there's obviously a fascination with judges. Just turn on the television and you'll see program after program featuring a judge presiding over cases before a national audience. In the history of the nation of Israel, there's even a time where judges were featured...in the book of Judges!

The greatest event to come is that of the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ. This is what we as believer's in Jesus, long for...what we are waiting for. The question that Pastor Terry just asked a moment ago is a good one...does this truth color the way you live? Do you live as if Jesus could return at any time for us?
