 Hear Pastor David Smith continue in the study of 1 Corinthians 15 as Paul teaches about the resurrection of the body and the true victory over death we have in Jesus Christ.

Pastor David Smith continues studying 1 Corinthians, beginning the “great resurrection” in 1 Corinthians 15.  Paul reminds us of what is of first importance—the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Without His resurrection all is vain.

As we move through I Corinthians 14, the primary topic for St. Paul is worship in the Corinthian Church. He gives instructions and commands from the Lord so that worship is always celebrated “decently and in order."

1 Corinthians 13 is once of the most recognized chapters in the New Testament. The chapter teaches us what God’s love for us is truly like. As we see what divine love is truly like, we learn how we can truly love others. The people of Corinth were hung up on spiritual gifts. In this chapter Paul teaches us about a more excellent way, "the greatest” gift he says-love.

As we conclude 1 Corinthians 12, Paul makes several important points. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts as is needed in the church where and when they are needed. Each gift is important. Each person is important. We are united as the body of Christ through baptism and are called on to care for each other as fellow members of the body of Christ no matter how each of us serves and no matter what...

Pastor David Smith continues discussion on The Lord's Supper in 1 Corinthians 11, beginning at verse 28, including proper examination before partaking of the Supper.

In the last half of chapter 11, Paul addresses the abuses of the Lord’s Supper going on in the Corinthian Church.  He then give instruction of what he received from the Lord concerning the institution of the Lord’s Supper and the proper practice of the Supper.  These verse are very important for the church today.

Paul concludes 1 Corinthians 10 by expressing his true feelings about Christian freedom as he says that he tries to please all that they may be saved. Then in chapter 11 he discusses the God created distinctions between man and woman and how everyone can honor and respect Him and His divine creation.
