Spoil Me

Thank you very much to Gabriela for commissioning this episode! This is the one where we get to see what the deal is with the guinea pigs all over the place in the coffee shop, and I begin to wonder if maybe Fleabag and Boo had more of a romantic thing going than I at first thought. Also, we see more about her loser on-again-off-again boyfriend, plus she hands over that statue to her sister's husb...

Thank you to Paul for commissioning this episode! Well, we're into Season 2 now kids, and you know what that means...moving on to a whole brand new mystery! Wait, what's that? Oh, we're NOT moving on? Because this last mystery isn't over yet? Oh, and the one before that from Sandbrook was ALSO not over? Well. Alright then.

Thank you so much to Gabriela for commissioning this episode and getting me started on this series! This episode is hilarious and sad and then hilarious again. So much of it is deeply relatable (as some of you know if you were there for the video) and then there's alien behavior that seems like a disaster in progress, a train crash you can't look away from. I am very excited about this show.

Thank you to Rachel for commissioning this episode! This is probably the most bonkers episode so far this season in turns of storylines being all over the place, however I liked it better than some of the others since there were no real problematic elements like there were in the episodes about the rapes. Bonkers, perhaps, but enjoyable and fun at the least, even if Logan was in it. :P Thank you a...

Thank you so much to Paul for commissioning this episode! Except no thank you, and I hate you. This episode. Omfg.

Thank you to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! While this particular episode doesn't outclass "Altar Of The Dead" in terms of sheer weirdness, it's certainly a close call. Turns out that good ole Uncle Henry is actually Daddy Henry (at least for Flora) and he's got some weird manifestations of guilt going on. Also, we get to see more of what's happening with Flora, and I really feel bad for...

Thank you very much to Paul for commissioning this episode! And thank you all for your patience as I had to reschedule everything due to the disaster that is the entire state of Texas. I cannot believe all of the info that gets dropped in this episode, and it ends on such a complete cliffhanger that I was ready to tear my skin off when the credits suddenly rolled and I realized I had to wait until...

Thank you so much to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! I really loved this one. Not surprising, since I've had a running theory about Hannah this entire time, but this was so much more bonkers an explanation than I was really prepared for despite me joking about it. I mean, even outside of the big reveal, it's more about the way the storytelling unfolds and how visually beautiful and unsett...

Thank you so much to Kelly for commissioning this episode! It's time for the next book in the Young Wizards series! I frankly wasn't ready for this one, though. I really thought we would get another book or two of Nita's mom being around before we had to cope with her loss, and instead we start this one with her mother already apparently dead and buried, with the funeral already done with and life...

Thank you very much to Jesse for commissioning this episode! Wow, so there's only 2 left after this and I'm frankly not sure whether or not the season is going to wrap up on this murder. It doesn't feel to me like we're closing in or anything, and I'm not sure if I want them to solve it, or if the mystery is the fun part....and even if it IS the fun part, you can only carry things so far without g...

Thank you to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! So we finally find out who the dude with the glasses is that Dani seems haunted by, and I for one feel super bad for her. I just hate that she's finally able to tell the truth about what she wants, and is immediately punished for it. Really it's no wonder at all that she's haunted. Meanwhile, we're dealing with the whole issue with Owen's mothe...

Hoo Boy. First of all, I want to thank Bert for commissioning the finale of Dark so that I was able to avoid further confusion and watch it quickly following the penultimate episode so that I wasn't too too lost. That said, I am so angry throughout this episode that confusion turned out to be, in retrospect, something I needn't have worried about. This will go down in my mental Hall Of Shame as on...

Thank you very much to Paul for commissioning this episode! I'm so into this show, y'all. This is turning out to be a story about how a murder rips apart a family and a community just as much as it's a story about catching a murderer. We get to see the ripple effects of this investigation hit Jack Marshall as squarely as if he were the intended target, when in the end it really looks like he had n...

Thank you so much to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode of The Haunting Of Bly Manor! This episode fills in a lot of the story regarding Becca and Pete's relationship, and I found this very effective. I don't know who was in charge of the majority of Pete's dialogue and directing, but I think this show did a better job depicting the gradual escalation of an abusive relationship than most othe...

Thank you very much to Arielle for commissioning this episode! So we've got another murder on our hands, theydies and gentlethems, and personally I'm delighted. That guy seemed like he sucked, and we needed a little more going on than just the Dean, IMO. I haven't got a real theory about the connection, but I assume they're connected since it seems like the Coach's murder storyline is going to spa...

Thank you very much to Jessie for commissioning this episode! Welp, we're reaching the stage in the investigation where dirty laundry is getting positively YEETED out the hamper, and I'm not sure that everyone's first impressions on this are actually correct. I feel like Jack Marshall wasn't involved with little boys, although I can completely believe that he's a creep. However, he's not exactly f...

Thank you so much to Yama for commissioning this episode! This episode is when we find out that Bartosz is, in many ways, not as much of a side player in this whole conflict as many of us had doubtless supposed. Turns out that he's Noah's dad, and it's a really weird twist that might mean something significant, or might not. It's hard to know what we have room for with only one episode left after...

Thank you to Yama for commissioning this episode! So this is the one where it seems like we're finally finding out the truth about what Adam is actually after...MAYBE. I think? It's so hard to know. They all lie so much. But based on how few episodes are left, and the way he's treating Martha, I'm going to go ahead and say that he's a baddie and wants to kill her. And their kid. If I'm wrong, I'm...

THank you to Jaime for commissioning this episode! So we've finally reached the point where dirty secrets begin to be unearthed, and of course the very first ones we find out about are the Latimer family's. I had theorized that Mark was fucking around, but I couldn't see why, with his son's murderer on the line, he wouldn't be telling the police everything he knows. Well, he finally tells us, and...

Thank you to Krista for commissioning this whole book! It's the final episode of madness, and I'm here to tell you all that this book is so stupid and so occasionally clever and so weird that I think Mr. Tingle won me over by the end. It all ends with a proposal, and that's what we're all here for in our romances, aren't we? Well...aren't we? Bueller?

Thank you to Yama for commissioning this episode! Holy shit, this one is kind of brutal. I am so sorry for Katharina in this episode, because it just feels like she winds up being her mother's victim in the end like she'd been trying to avoid all her life, and it's so depressing. She really got the shit end of the stick in every way. Meanwhile, there's the loss of Peter as well, and Elisabeth find...

Thank you to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! In this Bly Manor installment, we get a really weird bit of backstory on what happened to Miles to cause him to be sent home, and it's unclear exactly what felt so urgent to him about his sister's message (apart from the fact that it was waiting for him on Day 1) but we know he took that shit to heart. We have another thing happening as well, w...

Thank you Krista for commissioning this episode! Alright, it's time for Part 2 of this wacky ride, and we've got a sex scene, theydies and gentlethems! It's a type of sex scene that I haven't run across in the very basic straight cis romance novels I've read, and I'm really interested in hearing any feedback about your experiences with this, should you have any. I mean, other things also happen, b...

Thank you so much to Krista for commissioning this episode! Also, though, Krista....never speak to me or my son again.

Thank you so much to Ashleigh for commissioning this episode! I am already to scared, y'all, and I think it's only going to get worse. I AM A GIANT WIMP, OKAY??? And there are a lot of ghosts! A WHOLE FUCKING LOT OF GHOSTS! Thanks for listening!
