Responding in Obedience 29.03.2022 34:37
Brody Holloway | Pure and Holy 2022 | Friday Night Jesus doesn’t do anything at random. His mission here on Earth was planned and thoroughly thought out. He came to Earth to seek out and to save the lost. The story of Zacchaeus is a perfect example of this. When Jesus found him and called him, he responded in obedience. He no longer had to seek out worldly things that brought him momentary jo...
Prepare Your Mind For Action 22.03.2022 30:24
Spencer Davis | Winter SWO 22 | Session Six Christians, we need to prepare our minds for action. Our old self would give in to any desire it wanted to—not caring about any of its consequences. But now, we don't obey our old wants or listen to the cheap lie that sinfulness is freedom. The Holy Spirit will change our desires to look like His. As you study the Word you start to think, act, an...

The Living and Abiding Word of God 10.03.2022 31:27
Rob Conti | Winter SWO 22 | Session Four The Word of God is central to our salvation and sanctification. As believers, we need to examine what we are filling our heart, mind, and soul with. The things of this world will only bring us temporary satisfaction, while the Word of God satisfies us completely. We need to prioritize spending time in God’s Word and allowing it to cleanse and shape our h...

Christ is Our Living Hope 03.03.2022 32:26
Brody Holloway | Winter SWO 22 | Session Two Ask yourself: Where are you putting your hope? In your friends, talents, hobbies, or relationships? Peter teaches us a lot about the “living hope.” We can fully rely on the hope of Christ that will never let us down. God’s love for us is unbreakable and powerful. He is always working in the lives of those who follow Him. As we grow in Christ, we...
Learning From The Life of Peter 01.03.2022 29:25
Brody Holloway | Winter SWO 2022 | Session One The Christian life will be filled with highs and lows. Throughout seasons of hardships, we need to keep our eyes on the Lord. Peter’s endurance through trials should encourage and strengthen us to live a similar life for the Lord. Growth happens when we are weary and get up after we fall down. Even in our own failures and faults, Jesus is still...
Christ In You, The Hope Of Glory 22.02.2022 39:27
Zach Mabry | College Retreat 2022 | Sunday Morning With everything that is happening in the world today, it can feel like we have no where to put our hope. The answer to this is Christ - the one who took on the cross for us, defeated death, and rose Himself from the grave. So why do we still doubt and question what He can do? We live with doubt and fear everyday. However, when we are tempted,...
Faith Requires Active Obedience 17.02.2022 35:06
Brody Holloway | College Retreat 2022 | Saturday Night How do we respond to God’s calling? We take God at His word and let our faith drive obedience. We need to take action everyday in our faith that brings pleasure to the Lord, holding fast to His Word. Noah, by faith and trust in the Lord, acted in obedience. Abraham shows faith by trusting God, even when he did not know where he was going or w...
Guarding Against a Heart of Unbelief 15.02.2022 34:50
Rob Conti | College Retreat 2022 | Saturday Morning We need to listen to the warnings in scripture about having a heart of unbelief. During the Exodus of Egypt, the Israelites had faith to leave. However, when things became hard, they wanted to go back to the place they were enslaved. We need to guard against sinful pleasures that make us turn our backs on the eternal rest promised to those who ho...
Pursuing Christ Requires Aggressive Submission 10.02.2022 39:40
Brody Holloway | College Retreat 2022 | Saturday Morning Don’t drift! Drifting may start off slowly, but drifting leads to a progression of doubt, dulness, departure, and disdain in our Spiritual walk. To counter this believers must aggressively submit everything to Jesus daily. No partial submission. As we look to Jesus the founder and perfecter of our salvation, believers will find strength to s...
What Does It Mean To Be A Disciple? 08.02.2022 41:12
Jamie Dew | College Retreat 2022 | Friday Night What does it mean to be a disciple? During the 2022 College Retreat, Jamie Dew answers this question using Mark 10:35-42. Sometimes we have a false idea of what a true disciple of the Lord should look like. Jesus makes it clear that discipleship is about submitting to him—not personal gain for us. To be a faithful disciple of the Lord, we have to die...

Brody Holloway | Fall Retreat | Sunday Morning We need the favor of God in our lives to withstand the world and constantly pursue Him. In this last session, Brody walks through Daniel 6. We have the hope o...
Fall Retreat: There is No Halfway Obedience 30.11.2021 33:58
Spencer Davis | Fall Retreat | Saturday Night True worship comes from the heart. In Daniel 3, King Nebuchadnezzar doesn’t care about the conditions of people’s hearts. He just wanted to be worshipped. But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn’t bow to him. They followed God’s Word even though they didn’t know His will. They knew God would deliver them. In this session, Spencer walks through what...

Marriage Conference: The Redemptive Goal of Marriage 24.11.2021 44:13
Brody Holloway | Marriage Conference | Saturday Night Marriage is a picture that God gives us to show what the Garden of Eden was supposed to be. People should see something different (than this world) in your marriage. It’s meant to reflect the Gospel and bring God glory. Think of yourselves as Jesus does. Let’s measure ourselves against Jesus—not against our spouses and their shortcomings. Don’...
Marriage Conference: Communication and Conflict Resolution 18.11.2021 26:28
Zach Mabry | Marriage Conference | Breakout The Christian life is all about joyfully submitting to the roles God has called us to. For marriage, husbands are called to love their wives sacrificially, and wives are called to submit to their husbands. Becoming unified is what we are striving for. This means we need to die to some of our individual qualities. Hold them loosely as Christ joins you to...

Love is strong, selfless, and serves. It is patient and bears all thing...

Rob Conti | Marriage Conference | Friday Night There is no perfect marriage—but take hope in the truth that Christ is the perfect Savior. If we aren’t careful in our marriages, we will let unmet expectations grow into bitterness. The cure for this is Biblical forgiveness. We can’t look to any other source for wisdom, understanding, patience, apart from Christ. Let’s put our flesh to death and reme...
