Faith Drives Action 21.06.2022

Brody Holloway | Respond | Sunday Morning Christians, we are to live and walk in humility. But, we are people of courage, boldness, and fearlessness. There are many stories in the Bible where characters point us to Christ. David is usually one of them. But, not in this story. Abigail is the one pointing us to Christ. She humbles herself and was ready to take responsibility for the sins and actions...

Praying God's Word 16.06.2022

Amy Davis | Respond Breakout Session Sometimes we overcomplicate prayer and view it as intimidating.  But, this shouldn't be the case. Prayer should be restful and recharging for us. We are striving to connect with God, our Heavenly Father! In this session, Amy shows us how we can pray using God's Word and warns us of a few dangers to avoid.   References:   Psalms 23 Mark 8:2-9 Learn mor...

How To Fall In Love With God's Word 14.06.2022

Rebecca Reavis  | Respond Breakout Session Studying your Bible isn’t always the easy thing to do.  It takes a lot of spiritual discipline. More often than not it becomes a thing we do to check off the list for the day. So, let’s be better students of the Word. Fall in love with God’s Word all over again and find true delight in the time you spend reading, studying, meditating, and memorizing Scrip...

Pursuing Joy In Seasons Of Depression 09.06.2022

Respond | Sarah Conti  | Breakout Session Depression is a common struggle for mankind—even for Christians. Scripture shows us example after example of people in raw sorrow, grief, and low places. We must pursue joy even in our depression and remember that joy is not based on our circumstances. It’s based on Jesus.  Sarah Conti used this breakout to give us 10 ways we can pursue joy in a season of...

Hope In Every Circumstance 07.06.2022

Respond | Little Holloway | Saturday Night Context affects how we view our circumstances.  As believers, we have a hopeful context in Christ. We have to fight for the right view of our situation. And, we do this by placing Christ at the center of our lives. We must stop justifying the desires of our flesh and discipline ourselves to spend time with the Lord every day.  This will equip us to minist...

Growing In The Knowledge Of God's Word 02.06.2022

Respond | Brooke Lovingood  | Saturday Morning It’s not always easy to love and be faithful to the Lord. There are forces and things pushing against our desires for Him. We have to put in effort and fight the enemy attacking our minds. In Mark 4 it can remind us to think about and be aware of the soil of our souls. Let’s grow in our knowledge of God's word by letting it be planted in rich dee...

Encountering Christ In Difficult Seasons 31.05.2022

Respond | Bethany Clark | Friday Night There are points in our lives where our walk with the Lord resembles a wrestling match. This makes sense, when we get saved it doesn’t mean we are perfect by any means. We are just beginning our walk and we get tired. Some handle this better than others, but either way during these seasons we need to dig deeper in God's word. In this we learn to encounte...

Ambassadors for Christ 19.05.2022

DNOW | Rob Conti  | Sunday Morning Contending for the faith means constantly being on guard.  This looks like reminding ourselves of the Gospel, daily filling our minds with the truths of Scripture, and being in constant prayer.  It is important for believers to do this in order to share the truth of the Gospel with others.  There are people around us that could one day face the Lord’s judgment. ...

Christ Calls Us To Action 17.05.2022

DNOW | Brody Holloway | Saturday Night Every Christian has a responsibility to contend for the faith.  We’re called to work for the advance of the Kingdom of God. Christ calls us to action. Pay attention when you open the Word of God. Let’s learn to think critically and defend the faith in our own minds.  We must guard ourselves against a creeping ideology that undermines, changes, and attacks the...

Knowing How to Spot the Wolves 12.05.2022

DNOW | Spencer Davis | Saturday Morning There are wolves in our churches and we need to be able to recognize them.  Wolves take the beautiful doctrine of God’s grace and turn it into an excuse to do whatever they want. In order to spot these wolves and protect ourselves against false teaching, we need to know the Bible.  So let’s take action as the body of Christ. Let’s abide in God’s word and con...

Christ Will Guard You & Keep You 10.05.2022

Be Strong | Brody Holloway | Friday Night Christ will guard you, keep you and protect you.  Believers, we live in a world that is constantly trying to undermine the timelessness of God’s Word. In Jude 1:1-4, Jude encourages believers and calls us to contend for the faith. God’s purpose for you is that you’ll be shaped more into the image of Christ.  Jude was a brother and servant to Jesus. He pres...

Brody walks through Hebrews 1-2 with our Snowbird summer staff. He discusses why Christian drift away from the Lord and how we're to remain faithful to Him. Before the Throne of Grace 05.05.2022

Be Strong | Rob Conti | Sunday Morning The Levitical priesthood was designed to point to something better.  Christ is superior because His priesthood will never end. There is now no need to sacrifice bulls and goats to make atonement for our sin. Christ’s work was finished on the Cross.  Then what does it mean for Jesus to be our Great High Priest ? Through Christ’s death, He offers us eternal red...

What It Means To Be Priests 03.05.2022

Be Strong | Brody Holloway | Saturday Night The Word of God calls us priests.  We’re called to be living sacrifices and to commit everything to Jesus. Too many of us allow other things to define us, but they should have no control over our lives. The power of the Gospel is never overpowered by our sin.  What does it look like to live sacrificially? How are we to live as priests in the world today?...

Every Man is a Theologian 28.04.2022

Be Strong | Zach Mabry | Breakout Are you going to be a good theologian or a bad theologian?  Men, we are called to be the ones leading and teaching others. People want to follow you. Our default is to take the easy way out, but we are constantly surrounded by eternal souls. We are examples. What are you spending your time on?  What you spend your time on is what you value. We are easily distracte...

Family Matters 26.04.2022

Be Strong | Timmy Burnette | Breakout Men, your role in life is never separated from your doctrine.  How should the Gospel guide our daily lives as men? Titus 2 directs us to be examples in the community and in our homes. We’re to be sober-minded and to not be controlled by outside sources. We need to develop a whole and healthy belief in the Word of God. Let’s pursue the Lord to be godly men, hus...

Mindful Masculinity 21.04.2022

Be Strong | Joseph Tucker | Breakout Mindful masculinity starts with knowing God. Men are meant to lead by example, love sacrificially, protect others, and provide for their loved ones. This all starts with your mind. We need to think more like Jesus. Jesus wants your hands, your head, and your heart. We do this practically through His word. If we ignore the Word of God, we ignore God. Let’s be Ki...

Jesus as Prophet, Priest, & King 19.04.2022

Be Strong | Spencer Davis | Saturday Morning Men, we’re called to mimic Christ in the roles of prophet, priest, and king.  We’re called to lead in the way of obedience, joy, and hope regardless of circumstances. Look at the lives of Adam and Moses—they performed each of these roles, but also falling short in them. If Adam and Moses fell short, we’re going to fall short too.  So, how can we mimic C...

The Zeal of Phineas And The Seduction of Israel 14.04.2022

Be Strong | Brody Holloway | Saturday Morning Consequences will come any time we compromise on what Scripture teaches. In Numbers 25, Israel became comfortable and submit to the cultural norms of the pagan people around them. Today, culture is making a mockery of the Biblical sexual ethic that God created us for. The issue is not desire or attraction, but an idolatrous heart. Believers, Christ is...

Biblical Servants, Biblical Men 12.04.2022

Be Strong | Timmy Burnette | Friday Night Men, we are called to be watchful, to stand firm in the faith, and to be strong. Our culture is afraid of true Biblical manhood because it stands against the worldliness. We need men of courage who have a wartime mentality towards sin.  In this session, Timmy Burnette preached through 1 Corinthian 16:13-14 — where Paul calls men to step into the roles God...
