small and simple: a daily verse

God's purpose is to bring us back to him and to live with him for eternity. He tells us in Moses 1:39 in the Pearl of Great Price, that our immortality and our eternal life, living in his presence as families, is his work and glory! I will see you all tomorrow!

What do you think it means in 2 Corinthians 5:7 when it says, "for we walk by faith, not by sight?" I invite all of you to let the spirit whisper to you as you listen today and I know the Lord will answer your prayer! How can you walk by faith this week? I will see you tomorrow!

God is good and so his spirit. Today we read Galatians 5:22-23 and my wife, Kenzie, shares her thoughts about how we can feel the Lord's goodness when we partake of the "fruits" of the spirit. I'll see you tomorrow!

The promise that nothing can separate us from the love of God is found in Romans 8:35,38-39. We are told that we will always be loved by him and our Savior, no matter what. If we look for evidence of his love, we will find it! See you all tomorrow!

God has never changed. This means that miracles are still taking place today and forever. Mormon 9:9 and Mormon 9:19 testify that God has not ceased to perform miracles because he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God is a God of miracles. He lives and loves you. I will see you tomorrow!

In Jarom 1:11, the Nephites were taught to believe in the Savior's coming, as though he already came. What do you think that means? You have a loving Father in Heaven. I will see y'all tomorrow!

The world is full of darkness. But we have the greatest source of light, our Savior Jesus Christ. Today I sing (yes, you read that right) hymn #89, The Lord is My Light and share some thoughts about how the Lord and his light dispels all fear. With the Light of Christ, why should I be afraid? The Lord promises us we don't need to be! Thank you all and I will see you tomorrow!

2 Nephi 1:15 and Mosiah 4:12 are the scriptures for the day! I asked the missionaries serving in our area to share their favorite scripture and their testimonies of them. Elder Leslie talks about being encircled by the arms of God and that we can never go beyond his reach. And Elder Charlesworth talks about rejoicing and being filled with the love of God, and how this scripture came to him in a ti...

The Lord knows that we go through hard times, yet he has commanded us to cheerfully do what we can. He then promises us that we will see his arm revealed. Doctrine and Covenants 123:17 is a scripture of hope and faith. It is not easy to have cheer when facing trials and pain, but it is well worth it. The blessing? To see the salvation of God. You are never forgotten. The Lord God is aware of you and he remembers you. Doctrine and Covenants 121:7-8 show us that even in our darkest, loneliest times, the Lord remembers his suffering saints. He has promised us that our hardships and pains are only temporary and he can and will exalt us on high. I'll see you tomorrow!

You and I have the promise that we can know that the Book of Mormon is true. This is the promise found in Moroni 10:3-5 and if we give this promise a try, the Spirit will testify of it's truth. We can and will know in our hearts. I'll see you tomorrow!

The Book of Mormon is the word of God. In the Introduction to the Book of Mormon we learn that it is the most correct of any book on earth and we will get closer to God when we read it and abide by its teachings. The teachings of Jesus Christ. I will see you all tomorrow!

Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. He shares this experience in Joseph Smith History 1:17. He was called to be a prophet and through him and through God's direction, Christ's New Testament church was restored back to the earth. God is aware of you! I'll see you all tomorrow!

God promises knowledge and blessings to those that ask. We are promised in James 1:5 that the Lord God gives to everyone liberally (which means generously or abundantly). And does not look down on us when we ask! Jesus is the Christ. I'll see you tomorrow!

The Lord calls prophets today, just as he did in times of old. Just as he said he would in Amos 3:7. This week, we will talk about Jospeh Smith and we will gain greater understanding of the importance of prophets. God lives. I'll see you all tomorrow!

The Godhead is a fundamental truth. God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings. Separate in body, united in purpose. This is evident in Matthew 3:16-17! God is aware of you! I'll see you all tomorrow!

Jesus Christ has given us the greatest gift, salvation. Eternal life with him, our Father in Heaven, and our families. Omni 1:26 talks about this salvation and how we can receive it! I will see you all tomorrow! Remember, you matter to God.

Today is National Puzzle Day. If you have ever done a puzzle, you know that what seems like a mess at the beginning turns out to be a magnificent picture, all with time and patience. Romans 8:28 tells us that everything will fit where it needs to be, and everything will work together for our good! I will see you tomorrow!

Today my wife shares her favorite verse, Joshua 1:9 and shares with us why she loves it! We learn that the Lord God promises us that he will be with us through our ups and downs and wherever we go. See you all tomorrow!
