Shiloh Creek
Welcome to Shiloh Creek — a quirky nature reserve where Old Timber, a wise old elephant elder, tells stories from the lives of the animals who live there. Bongo the klutzy bear cub, Zippy the hyperactive hummingbird, Shelly the dry-witted tortoise, Garingo the dramatic parrot, Fern the shy fawn, and a chorus of comic frogs called the Mudpuppies all share their adventures, their mistakes, and what they learn from each other. Every story carries a timeless principle from the Bible — never as a lecture, always as part of the story. For kids ages 4-12. Stories of kindness, courage, honesty, patien...

Garingo the parrot loves an audience — so what's the point of a good deed if nobody's there to clap? But one morning the Creek is full of small good things that just happened: the gate's mended, the trough's full, the bramble's cleared, and nobody saw who did it. Garingo sets out to catch the mystery do-gooder and throw him a parade — and learns it's Ranger Ray, the keeper who tends the whole plac...

A gentle story about why you don't have to be afraid when things change — because the One who set the seasons turnin...

Bongo has never been scared of anything — until he's alone in the dark at the Hollow Log, fetching lantern-moss for the evening sing. When he says 'I'm scared' out loud for the first time, he discovers the dark was never empty: it's full of crickets, fireflies, his friend Professor Hoot, and God right there with him. A gentle story that you're never alone in the dark. Bible verse: Isaiah 41:10.

Garingo prepares the grandest act of his life for Show-and-Tell Morning — then finds a friend's spilled seed-jars with nobody watching, and quietly gives up his whole show to set them right. A warm story about kindness that counts even when nobody sees it: the part of you that matters most is the part only God sees. Bible verse: 1 Samuel 16:7.
Ep 26 · Old Timber's Turn 13.06.2026 18:47
Bramble the traveling storyteller is back at Shiloh Creek with one of his little tales — a story about two animals who each built half of an old stone wall, and the morning a young one asked which half was the good half. Old Timber, delighted, knows at once what it means... or thinks he does. But when little Zippy hears something Old Timber breezed right past — the part where the builders only fin...

When Bongo's morning goes all wrong — spilled berries, a tipped dew-bucket, and a wake-up song that comes out like a duck stepping on a kazoo — he decides the whole day is RUINED and tries to skip straight to tomorrow. But Old Timber and the friends show him something wonderful: a morning get...
Ep 24 · Guess Who's Back 13.06.2026 17:31

And she's not alone: she's brought a human boy she met on the road. But when the friends all shout his name, it's Fern who freezes — because the kind boy who walked her home tu...
Ep 23 · The Quiet Ears 13.06.2026 18:57
A traveling storyteller hedgehog named Bramble wanders into Shiloh Creek the very morning Chitter the chipmunk races back with big news: the bend-tree's first blossom has opened — and it only stays open for one morning! But Chitter talks SO fast, and everyone's only half-listening, that his little message gets passed friend-to-friend and comes out the other end wonderfully wrong — a blossom TOSS,...
Ep 22 · The Mending Day 13.06.2026 19:24
Bongo the bear cub LOVES to help — he's just a bit of a klutz about it. So when he tries to tidy up for Old Timber and accidentally knocks the elephant's most precious keepsake — a smooth memory-stone he's carried since he was young — and it cracks clean in two, Bongo does the thing every kid has been tempted to do: he hides the pieces and hopes nobody finds out. But the hiding turns out to be far...
Ep 21 · The Very Good Day 13.06.2026 19:47
Something happens at Shiloh Creek that has never happened before: a human comes to visit — a curious, kind, clever boy named Jigstar, who follows the water right into the middle of the morning. The animals are amazed ("Where's your TAIL? Can you do a BACKFLIP? Can you SLIDE?"), but then Jigstar turns the question around and asks THEM: do you ever wish you were something else? One by one the friend...
Ep 20 · The Brave Small Thing 13.06.2026 15:36
The Mudpuppies — Splish, Splash, and Splosh — have never led an adventure before. So when a kind little errand sends the three tiny frogs out of their cozy pond all the way to the big old barn at dusk, they do what small-and-scared folks often do: they puff up LOUD and pretend they're not frightened at all ("we're barn experts — we've never been inside, which is HOW we know so much!"). But bravado...
Ep 19 · The Not-Yet Day 13.06.2026 18:11
Zippy the hummingbird CANNOT wait. There's a chrysalis on a branch about to become a butterfly — "almost ready," everyone keeps saying — and almost-ready is the hardest thing Zippy has ever heard. She tries fanning it, singing to it, even helping it open early... and nearly spoils the very thing she's been longing for. With Rex right beside her, the friends learn to wait together — and the butterf...
Ep 18 · The Glad Goodbye 13.06.2026 22:54
It's Fern's last morning at the creek — she's grown brave enough to go explore the wide water downstream, and she's happy to go. But the friends droop into a grey, no-one-wants-to-play gloom. Then a brand-new otter named Rex slides in, joyful and certain he can fix sad with backflips — and learns, the hard way, that you can't cheer a sadness away. A goodbye-and-hello story about choosing a cheerfu...
Ep 17 · The Little Voice 13.06.2026 20:53
Fern hears something nobody else does — a tiny cricket, hidden under the very reeds the friends are about to clear for a big building project. The cricket can't talk; it can only chirp. Fern noticed it, but she is too shy to speak up while Bongo, Garingo, and Zippy boom ahead with the plan. As the work rushes toward the cricket's hiding place, Fern has to choose: stay quiet and safe, or open her m...

A visitor-welcome story about the Golden Rule, live...
Ep 15 · The Long Friend 13.06.2026 20:48

Zippy, Fern, and Garingo wave the mismatched pair off; then it's just the quick one and the slow one, together, on a small quest down the winding path. But the day the quietest, smallest friend helps without being asked, Hoot learns that being the smartest isn't the same as being right. The last become first. Anchored in a line Jesus told his friends — the last shall be first, and the f...

Each prep-detail weaves a memory from a prior episode: lanterns from a flood, berries from a recovered patch, the hidden path from a storm, Shelly's slow procession, Chitter returning welcome. When Ranger Ray...
