Shiloh Creek
Shiloh Creek
Welcome to Shiloh Creek — a quirky nature reserve where Old Timber, a wise old elephant elder, tells stories from the lives of the animals who live there. Bongo the klutzy bear cub, Zippy the hyperactive hummingbird, Shelly the dry-witted tortoise, Garingo the dramatic parrot, Fern the shy fawn, and a chorus of comic frogs called the Mudpuppies all share their adventures, their mistakes, and what they learn from each other. Every story carries a timeless principle from the Bible — never as a lecture, always as part of the story. For kids ages 4-12. Stories of kindness, courage, honesty, patien...

Ep 7 · The Path Through 13.06.2026 20:39
Bongo the bear cub has a plan — and a leaf-map. He's leading his friends to the old barn for the late-summer gathering. But a storm in the night has shifted a big branch across the path, and the way Bongo drew on his leaf-map isn't there anymore. King Solomon once wrote in the Bible — trust in the Lord, lean not unto thine own understanding. Bongo learns what it means to stop pretending to know th...
Ep 6 · Berry Season 13.06.2026 20:15
The harvest is small this year. The friends sit at the patch and count — and there aren't enough berries to go around. Zippy does the math. Garingo announces a stress. Shelly arrives with one berry. And Old Timber visits — and reminds the friends, gently, of someone who isn't even at the patch. The Mudpuppies. Jesus once told his friends something about giving — that when you give freely, without...
Ep 5 · The Great Flood 13.06.2026 20:22
The morning Zippy the hummingbird tried to fix the meadow and accidentally made it a lake. The Hydra-Tron Three Thousand was supposed to water everything gently. It did not. Bongo tries to help by digging channels (this makes it worse). Garingo announces the meadow has become a pond. The Mudpuppies are having the best day of their lives. Zippy is devastated. And the friends — slowly, one by one —...
Ep 4 · Storm at Shiloh Creek 13.06.2026 17:29
A storm rolls into Shiloh Creek and the friends scatter in panic. Bongo wants to fix the sky. Zippy has seven ideas. Garingo announces the wind has feelings. Only Fern — the shyest of them all — quietly remembers the way to a safe lookout. The dear thing who used to say nothing finds she has the words to lead. The Bible has an old line about being brave — and Joshua, who was scared, and led his fr...
Ep 3 · The Wind Did It 13.06.2026 17:14
The morning Garingo the parrot blamed the wind for something the wind did not do. Shelly's favourite rock has split in half. Garingo invents the most theatrical lie in the history of Shiloh Creek — a small, local, highly local, undocumented wind. The listener sees the whole thing happen. Garingo learns that the truth needs only one short sentence — and the lie needs many. The Bible has a line abou...
Ep 2 · The Moonflower 13.06.2026 18:14
The night Bongo tried to make the moon hurry up. Fern's first moonflower is about to bloom — but only when the moon decides it's ready. Bongo doesn't want to wait. The Mudpuppies don't want to wait. Even Professor Hoot has theories. Only Fern, quiet by the bud, gets to see the first bloom — and what she learns about being still, the Bible knew first.
Ep 1 · Welcome to Shiloh Creek 13.06.2026 18:32
Old Timber pulls up by the pond and gathers the friends — and the listener — for the very first story. A shy fawn named Fern arrives in Shiloh Creek for the first time. The animals rush to welcome her — except Shelly the tortoise, who knows that the kindest welcome is sometimes the quietest one. The Bible has a line about loving your neighbour. Fern reminds us how today.
