When our thoughts take over the body will follow. We have to be careful of the way we think and the actions that do on those thoughts can have consequences.

David has done disobedience in Gods eyes and the Prophet Nathan tells him what the Lord has Prophesied for his life. David accepts his prophecy with grace.

David is temped by Bathsheba, sleeps with her and plots to kill her husband, Uriah. Everything you see, hear and think is not for you to take action and it can lead you down the wrong road and get you in trouble.

In our lesson for today we talk about when you listen to the wrong people and not listening to God can get us into some sticky situations. Always consult God first before doing anything bc everything is not as what it seems.

God will bless you beyond measure if you stay consistent and obedient and listen when he speaks to you. When he speaks to you it may come to you through people, places and things but you must stay vigilant. Once you make a covenant with God you must keep it and be faithful to your vow to him. Let no man come between you and God.

David has decided to move The Ark Of God from Baale of Judah to Jerusalem. He praises God until he dances right of his clothes. Praise God any how, no matter what others say or how they may see you… praise God any how.

Ishbosheth death is about revenge but it was done on someone else’s behalf that didn’t require it. What was thought to be pleasing to David ends up being their own demise.

The web of deceit that you practice when playing both sides of the fence can come back an bit you in the butt.

When a house is in peril you can always tell… no one communicates very well and there is confusion and division.

David is being told about the death of Saul and Jonathan, he is confronted by his feelings and how he feels about his one time mentor.

Death is the outcome of Saul , he or his sons don’t have a chance of surviving the war with Philistines.

David has been gone for a minutes and while he was gone the Amalekites came and took all his belongings and he has to literally destroy all the Amalekites to get his stuff back.

David is rejected by another group that he tries to be apart of so where will he go now?

Saul is desperate for answers and he has even consulted with Samuel but he doesn’t get the answers he’s looking for

David has decided to stay in the land of Philistines and he knows that this will make the children of Israel furious with him.

David spares Saul again. They exchange words and part ways. Sometimes you don’t have to take revenge on your enemies you can let God handle them.
