The last chapter from the book of Jonah focuses on God's work in the prophet's life. Though at a glance it would seem as if the prophet grasped what God was doing but through time there was still more work to be done. Isn't that true of our lives too? There is still work to be done in our life and God is patient and compassionate. 

We continue through the book of Jonah as we see his prayer to God. He cried out when he was in the belly of the great fish. 

The last chapter of Acts Paul finally makes it to Rome. But the book of Acts doesn't here there. We still have been called to be a witness and to make disciples of Jesus Christ, it is not over!

We are continuing through our series in Acts following the Apostle Paul on his journey to Rome. Acts 24 Paul is in Caesarea where he is on trial before Felix and the Sanhedrin.

Titus 2 addresses old and young, men and women. We see how the Bible shows that the local church which is made up of different people are in it together and are called to raise up others.

The Holy Spirit filled the disciples and the church was birthed.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ changes everything. This Easter we look at how the Apostle Paul points out that the Resurrection matters and changes everything.

From Matthew 21:1-11, the triumphal entry signifies to start of Passion Week. Jesus is announcing that he is the King who Saves!

John 6 is the longest chapter in John. It is near the Passover and we see Jesus feeding the 5,000. This known passage of Scripture should intrigue us to not only what Jesus does but how this points to who he is.

John 10 concludes the Jewish Festival cycle with the Feast of Dedication. Jesus declares that he is the Door and the Good Shepherd. He is the true shepherd who leads his sheep. 

John records the Jewish Festival cycle in John 5-10. Jesus fulfills the meaning of each of these different festivals. In John 7-9 it is the Feast of Booths (Tabernacles) and Jesus proclaims that he is the Living Water and Light of the World.

We wrap up the church blueprint series as we see that the motivation of the church is love. 1 John 4:7-21 reminds us that God is love.

What exactly is the church supposed to do? the Bible gives us clear instructions on what is the mission of the church. This sermon is from Matthew 28:16-20, the Great Commission.

The Apostle Paul concludes his letter to the Philippians thanking them for the gospel partnership that takes place amongst Christians. He was thankful for them even if they did not send a financial gift to help support him because he learned how to be content in all circumstances.

The Apostle Paul addresses a conflict that had arisen in the church of Philippi. He then encourages the church in how to live when conflict arises.

The prophet Habakkuk records his prayers as well as God's response to his prayers. The answer to his prayers wasn't quite what he was hoping for, yet his final response shows us how we need to respond to our sovereign God.

Joy is among us as Jesus Christ was born. The Gospel of Matthew records an event that took place after Jesus' birth, the visit of the Magi. They brought gifts that point to why Jesus came. Gold, because Jesus is King. Frankincense points to Jesus deity. Myrrh points to Jesus humanity.
