This episode is a three parter. We will be discussing the most recent installments in the Planet of the Apes franchise. We start with the 2011 movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Then we move to the 2014 Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Finally we will be discussing the 2017 War for the Planet of the Apes. 

In week 2 of our Preston Sturges theme month we watched the 1941 movie The Lady Eve. 

This week is the start (1 0f 4) of our Preston Sturges theme month. For week one we watched the 1944 movie The Miracle of Morgan's Creek. This is a kinetic film that we found to be thoroughly entertaining throughout. 

In week 4 of our Keira Knightley theme month we watch the 2007 film Atonement. This is an amazingly beautiful film that we hope you enjoy as well. 

In week 3 of our Keira Knightley of our theme month we discuss the Academy Award winning film, The Duchess (2008). 

Week 2 of our Keira Knightley theme month. This week we watched the 2018 movie Colette. This movie was directed by Wash Westmoreland. 

This is week 1 (of 4) of our Keira Knightley theme month. We started off with the 2013 move Begin Again. 

In this episode we discuss the 2001 attempted reboot of the Planet of the Apes franchise. 

The long delayed resumption of the IMDb Top 250. This episode was recorded a long time ago and languished in editing. Regardless, here it is!

Week 4 of our second Billy Wilder theme month. This week we watched the 1966 movie The Fortune Cookie starring the classic pairing of Walter Mattau and Jack Lemmon. 

Week 3 of our Billy Wilder theme month, part 2. This week we watched the 1957 The Spirit of St. Louis. This movie stars Jimmy Stewart and Murray Hamilton. 

In week 2 of Billy Wilder month, Volume 2, we watched the 1953 film Stalag 17. This movie packs in a number of familiar actors but the stars are; William Holden, Don Taylor, Otto Preminger, and Robert Strauss. The movie revolves around the events in a German POW camp in WWII. 

In this bonus episode we thought we'd share an episode of radio program Nate used to host when he was a student at Boise St. In this episode he, and some guests, discuss the 2006 Oscars. 

Episode 1 of our Billy Wilder theme month, part 2! We start with a movie Wilder wrote, but did not direct. We went with the 1941 film Ball of Fire. This movie stars Barbara Stanwyck and Gary Cooper. We hope you enjoy!

In episode 3 of 4 of our 2021 Christmas movies we watched the 1940 movie Remember the Night. This movie is written by the famed Preston Sturgis and stars Fred McMurray and Barbara Stanwick. 

In episode 4 of 4 of our 2021 Christmas movies we watched the 2015 film The Night Before. This is a raunchy Christmas buddy comedy. If you like Seth Rogan films in general, you'll like this one. If not, you can pass. Either way, one viewing will suffice for us. 

In weeks 2 of our 2021 Christmas movies we watched the 1987 made for TV movie, The Three Kings. 

In our first Christmas episode of 2021 we start with the 1994 movie Mixed Nuts. This movie was directed by Nora Ephron and stars Steve Martin. Sounds like a recipe for an at least decent movie, yet the recipe completely failed. 

In this episode we discuss the 2021 direct to Apple TV+ title, Finch. Like Greyhound in 2020, this film stars the classic Tom Hanks. 

In this standalone episode we discuss the 1976 film Network. This is a tremendous movie. It was directed by Sidney Lumet, written by Paddy Chayefsky and stars Faye Dunaway, William Holden, Peter Finch, Robert Duvall, and Ned Beatty.

The final installment in our delayed Bad Boys Series. In this episode we finally caught up with the last installment in the Bad Boys series, Bad Boys for Life. Of course, the movie stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. This time they added in Vanessa Hudgens as well. 

Continuing in the Bad Boys theme, this episode we discuss the 2003 installment, Bad Boys II. This movie stars Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and Gabriel Union.  As a reminder, this series was heavily delayed by some covid related circumstances. This episode was recorded in 2019 and just getting released now. 

This episode is a bit of a victim of Covid delays. It was recorded in 2019 and is just getting release at the end of 2021.  In this episode we discuss the 1995 movie, Bad Boys. This movie features Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and Tea Leoni. 

This episode was recorded earlier in 2021 but for a combination of reasons we are just getting around to dropping it now. In this episode we discuss Rob's top 5 podcasts of all time.
