This is my personal tribute and recollections of Johnnie - that gently spoken but rebellious radio broadcaster, who time and time again sacrificed financial security and professional status to play the music he was passionate about and talk about things other than 'pop and prattle'. Along the way he gained enormous respect from millions of listeners and the 'stars and suits' of the music industry....
