John Wesley's last words were 'best of all, God is with us!' Perhaps they can be our last words of this year, as we look back and recognize how he accompanied us each day.

God has called each of us to do his work in different ways. Let's look back and see how we followed his call this year, and consider how we might continue to answer his call next year.

As we look back on the year, there are probably blemishes that we want to forget. Let's learn from them, and then move past them!

2022 has been a tough one. Many of us have faced very hard times. Let's remember them as we look back on the year, and be grateful for God's hand in helping us through them.

Jesus' first coming was a great wonder - and his second will be too. Let's look back at when he first came with joy, and look forward to his next coming with hope.

Every Christmas we talk of angels who sang at the birth of Christ. Will we, the church, also sing heavenly songs in praise of our God this Christmas?
