David knew that true joy came from God. So did George Mueller. When we come to God in the morning, let's avoid just ticking the boxes and being on our way. We must come to Him for joy!

Though he had sinned, David was still welcomed into God's presence, because he was loved by God. We can ALL find forgiveness and grace at God's feet, and have our shame washed away. Every morning come to God and remember His great love for you!

Daily devotion: We all know our weak points. In the morning, let's come to God with these, and ask for new strength and power to resist them and live the holy lives we are called to. David did!

Ruth Garland's mother was reluctant to let her precious child become a missionary in a dangerous land, until she learned the meaning of Romans 12:1 - offering ourselves as living sacrifices to our God. On a train to New York, Henry Garlock felt a prompting from God to disembark earlier than planned.
