Everyone loves gifts! When we become a believer in Christ and enter into God's family we are blessed with a gift or gifts that is super powered by the Holy Spirit. This is a lite look at spiritual gifts and how they are used.

Rated R Have you ever needed an advocate? Someone more proficient or knowledgeable than you were on a subject or situation. When it comes to spiritual things, we most definitely need one. That advocate is Jesus! More specifically, the Holy Spirit.  He takes what we are trying to say to God or don't know what to say at all, and makes it clear to God on our behalf. Pretty spectacular!

The Holy Spirit and His guidance. Where are you going? Do you know? There are so many areas in our lives that we need guidance. Relationship guidance. Work guidance. Financial guidance. Spiritual guidance. Sexual guidance. Personal guidance. Health guidance. The Holy Spirit is the greatest coach and guide we could ever possibly have. Don't forget Him.

Peace. The word itself sounds wonderful. It is hard for us to grasp it. It is hard because we try to get it on our own. We try things that were never made to give us peace. In and of themselves, they are fine. But they do not produce lasting peace. What does produce lasting peace?

How much time do you and I waste being powerless because of our lack of understanding of the Spirit. Or we just want to do our own thing in our strength. If we would allow as Christians the Spirit of God to do what He is capable of doing in our lives God would do things in and through us that would be unexplainable. That is what I want...

Wondering + Doubting = Weakness As a believer, the Holy Spirit gives us CONFIDENCE. It is His work, not ours. That means we need him every day.

The Spirit of God at Salvation sets us apart as members of God's family, and then he continues to sanctify us from the inside out and beyond.

Don't forget the Holy Spirit If you are in a relationship w/ God then you have His Spirit. He does many things for us. We started off by talking about how He challenges us about our sinfulness. Now we talk about He transforms us from slavery into freedom.

I'm sure you have heard similar stories, and who knows, you may have been part of one. I hope you will listen and be challenged to be sensitive to the Spirit of God in this situation. First of all, this podcast is rough. I had a busy week. For reasons I will keep to myself, I had to change directions a little on this series about the Holy Spirit, and a ton of challenging things were happening in our ministry. I'm grateful for God's grace, love, and faithfulness, and for His patience with me. He is GOOD! But I fall short. I feel like I let you down on this one, but hopefully, by...

We think about God a lot. We think maybe even more about Jesus. But often we forget all about the Holy Spirit and His home...us. What is He responsible for? Can we reduce His power and effectiveness? Can we ignore Him and be Christlike? Why is He needed at all? Over the next 11 weeks, we will learn so much about the Holy Spirit that we will never let Him slip our minds again.

Based on the book "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan - Chapter 10. When we learn something we should apply. It there is a lot to learn about the love of God and what our love for Him should look like. So as we learn those principles the takeaway should be obedience.

This study is based on Francis Chan's Book "Crazy Love" Chapter 9 Christ sacrificed everything for you. What are you sacrificing for Him? Is more time spent on yourself or is spent on Him and others. Here are six stories of people who gave their all for God. Could you live like they did? At the end of your life, what will the story be that is written about you?

Bible study centered around Francis Chan's book "Crazy Love" - Chapter 8 What are you focused on in your life? What gets the most time and attention? Where does God fall into the structure of your day? My problem.....I get captivated w/ my ministry instead of being captivated w/ God. It is something I am working on turning around. What do you need to turn around to get full capitvated on HIM?

Based on the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan - Chapter 7 Are you playing it safe? Meaning, are you being lazy? Are you holding back from God? Are you scared or fearful of surrendering all the way to Him? I think you will find it is more fearful to play it safe than to pay the cost and give your all to HIM. It's a little dangerous but super rewarding in many ways! 

Based on the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan - Chapter 6 Where is your focus? On all the things and people around you? If you want to handle all of that, we must first look vertically to God. And not just look at Him, we must RUN to HIM. Don't let anything else slow us down, and don't get distracted. Run to Jesus and don't stop!

Based on the Book Crazy Love by Francis Chan - Chapter 5 As a Christian or Christ follower, are you on fire for God, or are you fading away? If you are fading away, why is that happening? Reignite the fire God has put in your soul to follow Him with everything you have! There is nothing greater to strive for! Keep going!

Based on the book Crazy Love - Ch. 4 Are you doing things half way for Jesus? Did HE not give us HIS all? Consider surrendering your entire life to God and see God rain down on you His blessings. It is the best way to unchain yourself and be free.

Who is the greatest lover? You? Your bride? Someone else? Maybe it is God. And if so, we should pay great attention.

How long do you have? Will you make it through this podcast? Will you make it to tomorrow? What about next week? Maybe we should look at life a little differently. Redeeming the time.

We pray a lot when we are in trouble. We pray a lot to ask for things. We pray a lot when it is the last thing we can do. Maybe we stop praying for a bit and just wonder at the magnitude of God.

Some of us in our life have stopped running. We have stopped racing. We have stopped striving for the very best for us and our relationship with God. Get up on your feet and start fighting again. Don't settle for second best but start striving to win in everything you do! God bless your race!!
