Congratulations Class of 2023. I am very proud that you guys finished High School. This is the first step hope to see you soon as you walk to get your awards and diplomas.

We continue with episode #4 of Brent's Club and how drugs effect our bodies. This is an very open conversation with young men and we try to discuss the effects of drugs on our bodies. Different drugs and substances effect us in different ways. Over the counter drugs if abused can also be very deadly.

This week at Brent's Club we talk about the first drug that they have ever heard of. Some of the names of the drugs they hear it from the streets and lyrics of music. We have a very open conversation about our experiences with these drugs and how they might effect our bodies. 

It's officially the holiday season. We are decorating our clubhouse at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. The kids love it and the staff is having fun too. We have a best decorated door contest and many things planned for our members. Lets hear what they have on their Christmas List this year.

I guess it is assumed that we all have Turkey for Thanksgiving but thats not true. Some of our members have No Turkeys on their plates during the holidays. 

**Spanish ** We just got back from our Thanksgiving break and we start talking about our holiday. I hate excluding members so I switch it up and start the podcast in Spanish. 

We just had a fire drill at the clubhouse. I started asking the members if they knew why we do the fire drills? You know what don't answer the question lets do a podcast about it.

I would like to welcome this years first group of intern to Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. We have a great program with the Department Of Education were they place interns in jobs and pay them. This is our 7th year and we always look forward to having them in our clubhouse. This podcast was done right after there interview so they were nervous. Gotch Ya!

Some of our members just don't listen to us. It gets hard to control a class if they are not listening. I just wanted to ask them a basic question and get them on a podcast. I learned a little bit from this. 

We have a lot of extra homework help in all our clubhouses. We have a program called Power Hour that is all about homework. Nothing else happens in the clubs for 1 hour but homework help. So please get your homework done and ask for help if you needed thats what we are here for at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Clubs.

Have you been to Disney World? I haven't so the members at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club are telling me all that I'm missing. I love to see how there faces glow as we talk about Disney World . I believe this is a place we must all visit at least once.

We turn off all the PS5 and Xboxes and play with the classic board games. Do you remember your favorite board games? I hope we cover most of the board games from years past.

Everyone on this podcast has a dog or in my case a puppy. It's been about 20 years since I had a dog and the members remind me of all the love a pet can give to a family. I see the joy in my daughters eyes when they play with Ståsh.

This question can be asked of anyone on this planet. Do you believe  in Aliens?  The members do not shy away from anything. We talk about Area 51 to E.T nothing if off limits.
