Since we didn't get into the BIG dance, we were invited to participate in the CBI Tourney in Florida. Jacks traveled there to play UNC Asheville. It wasn't our best game and Flo Sports is a joke. 6 days in Vegas, what a trip! We had a great time experiencing our first WACVegas minus the L. In this episode, we will talk about the game and our adventures in Sin City. Shout out to the ladies for claiming the WAC Tourney Title and moving on to the Big Dance. #AxeEm #WACVegas 

Jacks took the lead at :34 seconds in and never looked back. They went on to win by 30 pts and with that W a piece of the regular season championship along with NM State and Seattle. After starting off WAC at 4-4, winning a regular-season conference title seemed far off but after winning 10 straight games, HERE WE ARE! What a wild run! Some call it a stunner, some say it was expected. We say -- just another day at the office for SFA. Jacks went to NM State and battled with the Aggies for 40 min of high-intensity, physical basketball. And just as the last few games have ended---FT and last-minute shots. DRAMA. The final home game in the Sawmill saw the Wildcats of ACU try to snap out 7 game winning streak. The thrilling win game was capped off by a final send-off to our Seniors (some of the 2nd time) and the message that WE ARE NOT DONE YET. 2nd to last home game in the Sawmill for the Lumberjacks and of course playing against our dreaded rival to the south made for an exciting game. The days of SHSU being in the same conference as the Jacks are numbered so beating them at home was pretty sweet. #AxeEm 

Jacks traveled down to Beaumont for a battle with the Cardinals on their court. As always, Lamar gives us their BEST game and we fight to stay alive. Thankfully, Derrick Tezeno showed up BIG TIME, and we got the W. #AxedEm 

I mean it just makes sense to do a double episode so here we are! Not much to discuss since both games were pretty standard...MINUS A MONSTER DUNK FROM DERRICK TEZENO ON WEDNESDAY!!! #AxedEmBoth The double episode features both games vs Chicago State, one away and the one at home.

Soon to be Utah Tech, Dixie State came into the Sawmill looking to upset the Jacks in their first meeting. SORRY CHARLIES...We are on a roll and *hopefully* not stopping anytime soon. Another dub and that makes it 3 in a row! Watch out WAC VEGAS, here we come! #AxedEm

Jacks welcome Utah Valley to the Sawmill for the first time! Much like the GCU game, we totally smothered them in the 2nd half. WHAT A WIN. BIG ONE. YUGE. #AxedEm

Lumberjacks came into this game off a loss to Seattle and they were looking for a comeback. THEY GOT IT. An absolute dog fight in that 2nd half ended up with us winning 81-77. Back to Nac they go, with some juice and momentum under their belt... HOPEFULLY. #AxedEm Up next Utah Valley on Thursday @ 6:30 

Jacks traveled to Seattle U, our furthest opponent of the season so far and one of our new WAC compadres. It was a totally winnable game but our theme of the season is just to shoot ourselves in the foot with easily winnable games. On to the next.... 

The Minister of Culture, Shawn Clynch, joins us tonight on PMA. We discuss the weekend of fun-filled events and break down the game. This guy is a GEM and if you close your eyes, he *almost* sounds like Matthew McConaughey. #AlrightAlrightAlright #Almost #AxedEm #Kinda #NotReally #EffingTeddyBuckets We may not win every game, but dammit if we don't win every tailgate. 

The Lopes came to the Sawmill for the first time ever and MANNNNN did we #AxeEm!!! 

After that horrendous game in Bearkat land on Saturday, we needed a win. WE NEEDED IT. Lamar always plays us hard no matter what their season looks like on the standings, and thankfully we fought HARD and squeaked out with the dub. 

We want to chunk this game into the dark abyss of space, but first Alex & Jacks use this time as therapy and get it allllll out. 

FINALLY, the Jacks are home in the Sawmill and we are so so happy! We welcomed the Vaqueros from UTRGV to Nac and they brought the competition! Got the W but had to fight for this one! #AxeEm 

Had the game. Lost it. Too many turnovers and fouls. The End. #Distraught  Gotta move on. Gotta RISE ABOVE. Gotta believe. #AxeEm 

Finally, WAC Conference play is here! Jacks travel to Abilene to play the Wildcats and played another CLOSE game!  Night Hawk and Trell kept us in that game. BLESS THEM! Listen now to the recap. #AxeEm
