Happy Summer Y'all! It's that time again--when Alex and Jacks share with you what they have been up to during the off-season! Tune in to learn how we are gearing up for another exciting Fall going into year # 6 of our podcast!!! Some surprise revelations, puppies, adventures, concerts, bookings, & MORE! A PMA first!!! We are finally able to make our calendars work to get Coach Keller on the pod! Excited to chat about our new transfers from the portal PLUS our returnees & the 2023 Cayman Island Classic coming up in November! Jacks traveled to Abilene for the last time this season to take on the Wildcats. AN ABSOLUTE BARNBURNER OF A GAME. Did we hit the record for reviews during this game? It felt like it. Let's discuss this wild double OT game. #AxeEm

Jaclyn is back and feeling better so we are catching up on the last few games that our Jacks have played. Both were home games. Both with very different outcomes. Let's discuss, shall we?  #AxeEm

Jacks travel down to visit the Vaqueros in the Valley but thankfully they did not RALLY. We come home with a nice road W and move to 8-4 in conference play. #AxeEm 

ALMOST had this one. A tough opponent on an even tougher court. They reallllly know how to pack their fans in there. Maybe one day we will get that environment back at SFA....one day. Special guest: Matt Adkins, @CBB_RunThePoint.  #AxeEm 

and.... we gift the Aggies their first conference win. OOOOOOF.  Need to get it together for GCU on Saturday, our first game playing them at home in Arizona.

For the last time (for a while at least) we travel to Huntsville aka Prisonville for the 2nd to last regular season showdown with our conference rivals, the Bearkats. They've had our number in Johnson Coliseum south these last few years then on their trip to Nac, we return the favor. Let's hope our final matchup with them in March is more of the same. #AxeEm

Not the best performance coming off a fantastic win at Utah Tech.... not sure what happened here. Hopefully, we will get the kinks out before the final journey to Huntsville for a LONG time on Thursday.

The first of 3 away games for the Jacks had them traveling to Utah to take on the Trailblazers. Alex & Jacks watched from home and man what a game! DAY DAY HALL. That is all.

Two HUGE games at home in the Sawmill vs NM State & GCU and golly gee didn't the Jacks come through with TWO BIG WINS!!! Especially important for resume seeding as well as the next 3 will be on the road so that helps our confidence going into next week.

Another double episode to get us caught up before the showdown with NM State tomorrow in the Sawmill! 

Double trouble whammy episode coming at ya! Alex & Jacks go over both home games during Christmas week (and bday week for Jacks)!!!!  Next game: tomorrow Dec 29th at the Sawmill vs ACU ----conference opener! 

Wow. What an absolute dogfight to the end! The Jacks battled and clawed their way back into this game from a 22 pt deficit at the half and lost at the last second with a crazy buzzer-beater (essentially) from Bothwell. Join us as we break down this game on a rainy, cold birthday for our girl Jacks! 

WHAT A GAME!!! Overtime upset in Ruston! Alex and Jacks made the 2+ hour drive to Lousiana to enjoy a Lil Lumberjack basketball and we were gifted an absolute GEM! #AxeEm 

A rivalry dating back to 1970s. SFA vs Northwestern. Nacogdoches vs Natchitoches.  NSU got us this round but not by much and with only 8 players suited up it was a hard-fought game.  Those boys gave 110% on the court. We have a nice little break until Sunday Dec. 11th when Paul Quinn comes to town.  #AxeEm #RaiseTheAxe #HiKemperKeller

It was the return of the Jacks vs the Jacks this weekend in South Dakota but our boys, THE BEST JACKS, came out of there with the W!!!! A big upset win vs the 17th-ranked* jackrabbits. Next up?? CANADA!!! *17th ranked in the CI NCAA Basketball Poll 

Woof. Frantic. These are just a few of the words used to describe the final home game before finally hitting the road to SDSU and then to Canada! Not the best game BUT let's just take a few things into consideration here people.....but in order to know what those things are, you are going to have to listen to this episode.  Let's rant then let's calm down.
