We had an amazing weekend in Lawrence, Kansas!!! Never thought we would say those words, but it's true! Even with the loss, the game was great, the experience of Allen Fieldhouse aka the Phog was outstanding, and enjoying the town of Lawrence with all our Basketball friends was memorable as hell. Alex and Jacks (and a few more fans LOL) traveled to Fort Worth on Saturday to watch the Lumberjacks play Liberty in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. Pre-gaming and post-gaming with friends! Came away with a great W vs a really good mid-major team but then our boy Roti got injured, possibly severely. (FACK)  Axe Em Jacks w/ Alex & Jacks #PressU 

Poor Wiley College came into the Sawmill and we put up a solid 100 pts on them. And Day Hall? WHAT A DUDE.

The Thanksgiving hangover strikes again. Luckily, we played one of our bitter rivals in a nailbiter of a non-con game in our sister city, Natchitoches, Louisiana, and left with the W.  #AxeEm Jacks w/Alex and Jacks  The next game is at home vs Lincoln University (CA) where NBA Legend Gary Peyton is the head coach of a first-year program out of Oakland. 

After that amazing showing vs Buffalo, we thought we had great momentum going into the Championship game.  Not so much. The Billikens had ALLLL the luck. Literally. And that tech on Keller? God, there is nothing in this world we love more other than going into Huntsville and beating Sam Houston on their own court! It is EVEN SWEETER to win following a hard L vs ACU on Wednesday. IT was the perfect way to end a wild season even though there is no post-season action for us, we are so proud of how this team came together as a family and finished it the way it should be finished= as one...

ABSOLUTE HEARTBREAK CITY. We feel for the guys, played their hearts out and just kinda fell apart on the execution of the game in the second half. Lost in by a last-second layup at the buzzer. We have ONE more game on the schedule and it's @ good ole Sam Houston State. J & A will be heading down to Prisonville to watch with the Lumberjack faithful. Another makeup game that realllllly started out not looking good on our end. BUT we clawed back to take the lead at the half and never gave it up again. WELL...THAT STUNK. The Lumberjacks fell on the road to the bottom of the barrel Cardinals in DOUBLE OT and it was the absolute worst. Multiple chances to win the game and just could not get anything to fall into the hoop at the end of the day. We had a nice road trip otherwise, eating some yummy food, hanging with some friends, and watching the Ladyjacks dominate yet another team by 30+ pts.&...

It was the last official time in Demon country as SLC opponents! It was a bittersweet and super nostalgic game for both of us. We took home a nice road win back to Nac and also enjoyed some amazing cajun food by the river with a childhood friend of Jaclyn's. #MeatPies & #RoadDubs  Tune in for all the hot gossip, our trip details, and our post-game recap! 

What a wild game this one was! While Winter Storm Uri was barreling down on us, the jacks traveled to UNO to take on the Privateers, a game that was already rescheduled due to Covid issues. Technical fouls were flying left and right, players on both sides dropping dimes like hot potatoes, and a video feed that made us feel like we were smack dab in the middle of Christmas shopping season at Walmar...
