Moses was called by God at an early age but seemed to get ahead of God's divine plan. He was rejected and spent 40 years serving his father-in-law dealing with that rejection. Moses was reluctant to step up again, yet even in his reluctance he was obedient to God.

Many times God gives us a glimmer of what he would have us to do: a vision. Sometimes he even gives many details. But anytime I have tried to do it by myself, I make a mess of things.  Let's lean not on our own understanding but allow Him to help us.

Enoch was a man who walked with God. His life was so faithful that God took him out of this world. Someday, that will happen to all Christians: we will leave by the portal of death or the portal of the rapture and will be able to spend eternity with our God who has redeemed us.

Did you realize Abel--yes Abel, the one Cain killed-- was a prophet. Jesus said he was. The writer of Hebrews tells us the blood of Jesus was greater than the blood of Abel, but Able's blood still cries out to us.

Terry Hull, missionary to Alaska, shares the Word with us today. God can and does perform miracles. But to him, even the most incredible miracle is a simple thing to him. Not only is he able, but he is willing.
