Psalms 90 was written by Moses who lived to be 120 years of age.  In it, he speaks of the brevity of life.   Moses lived a lot in his 120 years, yet he considered them brief years compared to eternity. He learned not just to count the days but to make the days count.

We serve an eternal God--the God of the Amen. His desire is to walk in close fellowship with us and to be our refuge in the time of storm.

Our God is an omnipresent God. He is free from the limitations of time and space. He is a friend, a guide, and a shepherd. He is with us always even until the end of the earth.

God is love! His past provision should be the basis of our future decisions.

We serve an omnipotent God. He is all powerful. He has proven that power throughout history. But his greatest proof is the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Guest Speaker Evangelist and Missionary, Dr. James O. Davis, shares with us the Pandemic Promises for Powerful Progress, based on 1 Peter 1:1-9.

Our God is an omniscient God. That means He is all knowing. If we believe that, we must believe that He understands everything we are going through and He has made a way for us. If He knows, then we can trust Him to turn our obstacles or stumbling blocks into stepping stones.

God speaks of several mysteries in the Scriptures. Most of those mysteries are secrets of God that he reveals through His Word, His revelation and His Spirit. We Christians have this secret, but He does not want us to keep it or hide it but let shine before the whole world.

Christianity is more than do's and don'ts--it is about our relationship with God. But if our relationship is going to flourish there are some do's and don'ts. Let's see what Jesus had to say on the Sermon of the Mount.

With a new year comes brand new challenges. Today, I would like to challenge each of us--myself included--not to fret and sweat, but to rest in faith.
