Our world needs hope, needs to see what living a righteous life looks like. We need to serve as a light on a hill, living all our days like we have truly been justified in the eyes of God. We can live like this because we are indeed God's righteous children.

Romans 3:21-31 We an enter into the righteousness of God IF we have faith in Christ Jesus. This truth is for EVERYONE who believes, no matter what your past looks like.

Romans 3:1-21 We are all under sin and are in need of a savior. No one can become righteous by following the law. Instead, the law brings light to our sin and need of saving. However, through the blood of Jesus, we have been justified and redeemed by the grace of God. Therefore, our faith should be compelling us to live life like ones made right in the eyes of God.

Inheriting God's promise of the kingdom comes down to putting our faith in God and backing that faith up with our works and conduct.

Romans 1:16-32 God reveals Himself to mankind. Depending on how we react to that revelation, we will either see His righteousness or wrath firsthand. That outcome depends on whether or not we put our faith in Him. What decision are you going to make?

Romans 1:1-15 Paul's letter to the church in Rome is certainly at the heart of our beliefs today. Paul meant the message to be to all the groups in Rome and one they could rally around and be unified in their beliefs about God, Christ Jesus, and God's plan of salvation. Today, around 2000 years later, we can still rally around this presentation of our faith as presented by Paul.

God is the only one that we can put all our hope into, but we still don't always get what we desire. The important thing to keep in mind when reading Psalm 37:4 is that we cannot take scripture out of context. God blesses those who delight in Him, both in the present age and in the age to come. So stay the course, church!

The New Year is commonly a time evaluate and reflect on what's working and what's not working. This is valuable both personally and as a church. But we should also be focusing on how we are new creation in Christ and his sacrifice allows us to be reconciled to God.

As we celebrate Christmas this year, we are reminded of the promise to King David - that his descendant would reign forever on his throne. This hope is still alive today as we wait on the return of the Messiah, Jesus.

In the midst of whatever pain you're experiencing, you can trust that we serve a faithful God who keeps His word. Surely, He will bless you through the offspring of Abraham, Christ Jesus. And if we stay the course, our reward will be life in the coming Kingdom.

We live in a broken and cursed world, full of sin. We cannot overcome the power of sin ourselves. We need a chosen one, a Messiah, to save us. God sent Jesus to give us victory over sin, so we can have hope even in this broken world.

We can accomplish more as a united body of Christ. We must stay united and put deliberate effort into creating an environment of unity.

In this season of thanksgiving, focus on the many ways God has blessed you. And in turn, ask yourself how you can cheerfully give some of it away to bless others.

We have to use what God has blessed us with to expand his kingdom. This includes money and talents. We must take action - God expects it.

Balance is very important when it comes to spending and saving money. Money and possessions that we've been blessed with ultimately come from God and therefore can be good. But they can quickly become a stumbling block if we don't have proper Christian feelings about money.

We are commanded to work. This has been a very important role for humankind throughout history. While money is neither good or bad, it is a very important tool we have. Make sure you are using that money to serve and glorify God.

This first message of the series focuses on how we feel about money. The Bible outlines four main principles concerning proper feelings towards money: 1. It all belongs to God 2. Don't love money 3. Don't trust money 4. Cannot serve money Unfortunately, money can easily wreak havoc in our lives if we fail to follow these principles.

Worshiping in truth is crucial and a big part of what being a Christian is all about. But having pure motives in our worship is not enough. We need to seek truth in the authoritative word of God.

There is often a cultural assumption that fast is good and slow is bad. But this not always the case and there are no examples in the gospels to point to where Jesus was in a hurry. Truthfully, living a happy life means living in the moment. Listen for some practical opportunities and ways you can practice slowing down.

Simplicity is the intentional promotion of the things we most value and the removal of everything that distracts us from them. Implementing this idea can calm our lives and lead to a real sense of satisfaction when we simplify our lives around God, Jesus, and the Kingdom.

Incorporating the Sabbath rest into our weekly schedule is so beneficial and instrumental in eliminating hurry from our lives. The key to Sabbath rest, though, is that it is no ordinary rest but a time to stop, rest, and focus on God.

Instilling silence and solitude in our lives is the next step in eliminating the hurry from our lives. Quiet time with God is often the first to go instead of our go to when he have over-busy lives. But we need this time to focus on our relationship with God.

After identifying the issue of hurry last week, we turn our attention to remedying the issue this week. First up? Time. The biggest limitation we have is time - there never seems to be enough.
