Jesus is the Son of God, our Messiah, King, and Savior. He is also the Light of the World and John 8:12 says that whoever follows Jesus "will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." It's our job to follow His example and be a light to others in this world.

Mankind has needed saving ever since sin entered the world. 1 John 4:14 tells us that God sent Jesus to be our Savior. Jesus paid our debt once and for all according to Hebrews 7 so that if we put our belief in Jesus, we WILL be saved and have eternal life! Jesus is the messiah, the Son of God. He, therefore, is deserving of our praise. But, how do we find a balance of giving praise, glory, and honor to God and to Jesus? Giving glory and honor to Jesus glorifies the Father ( John 13:32 and Philippians 2:9-11 ).
