Nope. I'm Scared

So we are going to tell you about Cherynoble but we're also just going to do a ton of talking about various things that relate to science. Given the preface that we had to this episode it was nice to have just a fun, awe-inspired ramble fest of an episode. Sit happy and peaceful in this one though because next week we're jumping into the deep with a American ghost story Legend. Any guesses? Email...

Back again with more scary or spooky stories, with variation. Thanks y'all for being so patient while we catch up on life and get organized. It's working! This episode is up on the normal time and Ella finished her research for her case next week. So stay tuned because we have more in store. xoxo

Happy Easter, Ostara, and other various Spring holidays. We are giving you some spill over from Ella's dream episode while we take a moment to catch up on research and homework. You know, life. Thanks for sticking with us and just know that this will pass and we will be back to having fully rendered episodes on a normal schedule very soon. We are trying! Just two very stressed out senior students...

Well, women's month is coming to an end and we are wrapping it up with the bizarre, terrible, and wak bow that is Aileen Wuornos. This episode is bonkers nearly immediately and what a life this lady had. It's not good, yeah it's bad. It's a bit of a heavy case but there still is some humor from the facts and our trains of thoughts. Have any new suggestions for us? nopeimscaredpodcast@gmail.com or...

We couldn't let the month go by and NOT talk about witches. Who would we be? Weirdos! But not in the good way. We are giving brief overviews into three (THREE) witch trials: Scotland, England, and Salem. International women bullshit babyyyyy. Anyway we ramble a lot (what else is new) but we are also bringing you facts. Enjoy this light hearted episode because I'm nearly sure next week will not be...

Hello! We're doing our first film review today too since it applied to the story time. We talk and get annoyed with "The Curse of La Llorona" so hear us rant and whatever. We will be going into the legend behind the movie and I'll round it out with someone's story about trying to summon her. Because that sounds smart, right? https://www.legendsofamerica.com/gh-lallorona/

Happy Women's Month Ghoulies! We are catching up with life so we've got an easier day and just fun episode where we are hearing and simultaneously telling you scary stories. We are focusing more on Almost Kidnapping because #womensmonth but we threw in another creepy woods/ paranormal story for variety. Thank you for supporting a women created, produced, and run podcast! Good for you Glen Coco!

Robert Johnson is the root of modern Blues and Rock and Roll and his life was pretty darn interesting. Ever hear of the crossroad deals? Selling your soul to the devil? Yeah this guy was rumored to do that before it was cool. So we're gonna talk about the one and only, man, myth, and legend that is Robert Johnson.

Ella destroys Alexa in this batshit crazy case involving a badass woman who is just trying to work and her no good, awful, insecure husband. We also talk about where the legend of Changelings come from but most of this is one crazy case of a man convincing himself that his wife is not actually his wife. Sound fun to you? It's not but the storytelling is. If we have to hear it so do you.

Strap in ghosts and ghoulies because when I say this case is way, boy am I not kidding. This case is like a fast-fiction fever dream and I cannot make that more accurate. It has so many twists and turns and extra details that NO ONE ever needed, or asked for. So Happy Valentine's Day babes, it's a shit show!

Okay, fair warning, this episode is going to be rambley. Alexa had a rough morning so Ella had to take the reigns and she's still getting used to it. This Banshee episode is more about people maybe having encounters with banshees and what that looked like to them. If you want the lore on them in depth we highly recommend that you go check out Real Life Ghost Stories episode on Banshees. It's great...

Alexa did too much research again. Oops. Here's the theories episode as promised, if not a day late. My bad, my bed was real comfy. The case will remain unsolved because we have no flipping clue as to what happened, which you will clearly see. Think with us though and then let us know what you think happened. Send emails: nopeimscaredpodcast@gmail.com

We love an unsolved mystery, do we not? This is a case that still baffles people to this day and it is perfect for a wintery day. Nine friends go camping in the high mountains and are all found dead but with no clear understanding as to how or why or when. Intrigued??? Us too! So sit back and get spooked with us. Happy 30th Episode Nope I'm Scared! https://medium.com/the-mysterious-miscellany/in-t...

We recorded this episode right after Cursed Movie Sets so with everything that happened this week we wanted to include a little disclaimer. With that being said this is more of a breath of fresh air episode that will hopefully give you all a little break from the world for an hour. Past lives are very interesting to us and we just want to look a bit more into them and see what we could find. If yo...

We love movies! Especially Alexa, she studies them and writes them. Did you know that some are considered haunted or cursed?? We did! Alexa dug up all the goods on ten different scary movies that had creepy and weird, possibly cursed, sets and let's get real, it's strange. So many coincidences, when do we start believing things. Spend the day with us as we go into Creepy Hollywood. Also it's Ollie...

Merry Christmas! We found out some people tell ghost stories on Christmas and I guess that's our new tradition. We are serving up some Reddit treasures with ghost stories and some creepy human encounters. It's out last episode of 2020 and we're so happy to be here with you all! Love you ghosties!

This week comes with not one but two cases. We wanted to give y'all a Christmas case, so here is what I was able to get. A little unknown murder case or two. I was researching one and kept getting led to the second, so of course I had to cover both. This family has a bunch of sadness following it and it circles around the deaths of two teens at different time. It's not really merry but we're gonna...

Hello! We're back, sorry about last week. This week we're talking about Yule! Christmas is basically Yule and we thought we should give it credit. We also talk about various legends that come into play during this time of year. I mean, it's December, don't we all just want to be festive and hear about ways we try to terrorize children???

Alright, we're wrapping up this one and stamping it Case Closed. We're diving into anything related to law enforcement in this last episode. His arrests, captures, escapes, trial, and everything in between. Things are a little different this week as we are in two separate places, but we're still serving you the full meal of this monster. Enjoy!

WARNING GUYS ! This episode is us going through all the documented murders and a few that I was able to find that I didn't know about. They are brutal and awful because Ted Bundy was a MONSTER. We wanted to give the victims their moment because it's really the least we can do for them. We will try to keep it light in some areas but this one is a really rough one. SO, strap in, get comfy, and let u...

You love him, you hate him, you love to hate him. It's Ted Bundy y'all. We've known we were going to cover him when we first started talking about making this podcast. He's Alexa's favorite serial killer and, since it's her birthday week, we thought it was perfect timing. They also have strangely close together birthdays. IDK. We're going in on who Ted was growing up and what he did up until the t...

Alrighty roo ghosts and ghouls. We're talking about all the things that happen in our sleep. Sleep paralysis and the demons that come with it, night terrors, lucid dreaming, you get the picture. We're also throwing in a bunch of our own personal brand of weird that is our dreams and talking about that. Get cozy with us and lets talk about dreams!

It the day of the dead for us over here and we thought it would be fun to learn all about it and share it with you. This beautiful holiday is all about celebrating life as well as death and being close to family. We figured we could all use some of that right now. We're looking at the history, the culture, the traditions, the food, all of it and sharing it with y'all. This was a really fun episode...

We are a HARD NOPE on Ouija boards. Never touched them, never will. We started out the month of Halloween showing you some games we don't think y'all should play, so we're bringing it full circle at the end. Don't play with Ouija boards. But, here's some stories to live vicariously through and if you do play, SAY GOODBYE.

Baba Yaga proved to be much more interesting than we were expecting. She's a neat old lady with a lot of stuff going on, and we're kinda here for it. It's a bit of a lighter episode, we babble a bit. Sorry. But, it's Halloween week so we have more coming your way. Enjoy!
