I rambled about Dr. Peter Hotez, who I probably largely agree with but who looks like a coward in the public eye.

I talked about my Uncle Bob passing last week. He was a good man and I loved him a lot. Also I tore my meniscus today, and I told the story.

A day after fighting off food poisoning, I told a story from almost 15 years ago about the time I got E. coli on a camping trip, and the medium-term aftermath.

I was joined by Matt Mikolas, a former Seattle sports broadcaster and long-time friend of the pod. We were driving to Pasco, Washington where we golfed and where I had a show, and talked about college radio and what it was like to be a black sports broadcaster through the time when Colin Kaepernick was kneeling during the anthem and people were protesting the murder of George Floyd.

I talked about my trip to Montana, some complaints I have about gatekeepers in comedy, the perils of becoming unemployed with a pregnant wife, all while doing dishes!
