Another great day of movies The Long Walk - based off of the Stephen King book, I plan to discuss this further with a future episode. Then I watched 2 classic Universal monster movies, both the 3rd in a trilogy. Son of Frankenstein and The Creature Walks Among Us. Both outstanding, not as good as the original/first in their respective trilogy, yet they hold their own. Thank you for listening.

SHOCKTOBER Day 24 26.10.2025

I was able to get 2 movies in, it was a little bit tougher today, however I squeaked them in. Had this one movie on a list and it fit in perfectly for Shocktober. Severance (2007) While looking for this movie, Altered States(1980) crossed my path. Haven't viewed it in many a year. I was in the mood for something trippy. Enjoy the episode.

SHOCKTOBER Day 23 - More Foreign Horror Delirium/Tamara 24.10.2025

Another giallo was recommended, so I had to check it out. While the other movie viewed was one on a list of theatrically released movies that I had missed. Either way I viewed both movies as a win-win situation. Hope you enjoyed the episode. Thank you for listening

Another great day and I was able to watch 2 more interesting Foreign Horror Movies. One from Ireland and the other from France. Both are uniquely different. One dealt with a monster tentacled creature. The other prisoners are dealing with black magic. Hope you enjoyed the episode. I appreciate you listening.

Had a good day. Felt motivated to watch a foreign horror movie and Guillermo Del Toro was on my mind because of Frankenstein. So I indulged in Cronos. Then it was Mystery Movie Monday and I really hoped for horror. My intuition was correct, Shelby Oaks was the mystery movie. Definitely had a stronger beginning than end. Enjoyed it for not knowing what it was. Thank you for listening.

Needed a pick me up, so I went with a favorite. The Monster Squad Such an enjoyable movie. I totally could have been in this club. Heck I probably tried to start my own Monster Squad. Finished my viewings from the Osgood Perkins library of directed movies. Gretel & Hansel and The Monkey. Then I discuss my ranking of the movies. Of course I was so excited about The Monkey, that I spaced my review of Gretel & Hansel. I do comment on it, just mostly touching upon it.

I'm continuing to watch the few movies that Osgood Perkins has directed. Of course I noticed a theme with 2 of them with the use of the devil. So I viewed them 2 days in a row. Wow! I had the opportunity to see The Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2 in theaters. I didn't think I was going to be able to go, but my schedule opened up.
