In the moment of failure, when you have no one else to cheer you on, that's where YOU need to talk to yourself for a moment. That's where you need...

It definitely speaks up when you're injured or hurt. But it also speaks to you when you're not hurt, and those messages aren't always as clear as day. Which is why...

Growing up, I always found dance as "theraputic." But I never thought it would be an official way of therapy. I've benefitted from the affects of going to therapy and being a dancer. Which is why I was fascinated when I heard about dance/movement therapy. I really knew nothing about it which is why I invited Vicki Alvarez to talk about: What is dance/movement therapy. The...

Today's question came from my YouTube show, EmeroyTV , but I felt compelled to share it. It's long, but here's the essence of it: How Do I Tell My Wife To Change Her Dance Career? NO. Allow Your Self To Suck 29.11.2019 0:48
EVERYONE SUCKS AT THE BEGINNING. If you want to be great at whatever is you want to pursue you've got to tough it out during the awkward phase of sucking. importance of empathy in life 22.11.2019 2:01
EMPATHY is NOT SYMPATHY. Sympathy = "Aw poor you." Empathy = "Hey man, I get what you're going through. It sucks." If you want to feel more connected to other people in your life, empathy is key. But it's not gonna be easy. You've got to get over your own ego and judgement to truly put yourself in someone else's shoes. It's listening to understand, not listening to reply.
