People don't owe us jack. Nor does Life. The sooner we accept that, and take the onus for the fulfilment of our goals on ourselves, the sooner things will happen for us. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

All our reasons might be valid, exonerating us from doing what we have set out to. But upshot is, we haven't done what we set out to. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

The very nature of life is to fail and rise again, to keep striving. Be it a relationship or an enterprise or trying to learn how to ride a cycle, the only way is to keep endeavouring. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

Doing it all ourselves isn't an achievement, just an exercise in ego gratification. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

There are tasks in life that we try our hardest to avoid or postpone. But, once we actually start, it happens so easily that all our avoidance seems idiotic. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

if there's something we can do about, we've probably already done it. Further obsessing only destroys our peace of mind but accomplishes zilch as far as alleviating the situation goes. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

Every day we wake up, stress about the same things, angst about the same issues that have been bothering us for ages... Aren't we sick of this routine, already? Why not change things around? Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

When will it happen? When it happens will it happen exactly the way I want? What if it doesn't happen? These are the kind of questions that plague us day and night. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

All too often in life when we find that people haven't done what they promised us, they would, we get angry and take them to task. And the experience, many times, leaves us drained. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

It's perfectly fine to insist on things being done our way and stay steadfast on this. The only thing that's not on is getting egoistic about being right. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

We're doing our work well, enjoying it, all is good. And then Boom, something happens to upset us. That's the end of our perfect day. From here onwards, the Domino effect comes into play. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

Too often, in a conversation or interaction, we think we know what the other person is going to say, how they are going to behave. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

When we compare ourselves with others, we look at where they have reached, how famous or popular they are et al. Which are the worst things to look at cause all it does is make us feel jealous or inadequate. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

The Universe deals us a mixed hand of cards. A wise person would focus on the blessings and opportunities and make the most of his/her life. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

we're very good at event filtering out parents, spouses, bosses when we don't want to hear what we're saying? Why then do we listen to the voice in our heads that says we can't do this? Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

We use our closest people, our loved ones as the the outlet for all our irritation. Their only offense was being around us, caring about us. And in return, this is what we give them. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

Before we do anything new and out of our comfort zone, we have this tendency of deciding that we will fail. Why such a negative approach to things? Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

We doubt ourselves and the Universe. Keep believing that the converse of what we want will happen. That's where we're tripping ourselves up. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

All too often, the Universe will make sure things happen at a completely different speed than what we are comfortable with. Cause that is what we need. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

We have so many great ideas, so many elaborate plans. But what value do they have until we put them into action? Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

Remember how as a child, we were wonderstruck and awed by every little thing. Unfortunately now, instead of wonder, we have expectations, anxieties, comparisons, angsting. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com

If we look at a minor irritant and make it a huge problem, then it does become a huge issue and derails our life, goals, happiness etc. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com
