MORNING RAY OF SUNSHINE

Let's not get so carried away with one responsibility or position that we make it our be all and end all, derive ego gratification from that one area and neglect everything else in our life. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

We're looking for light, for hope and for love. But we claim, all we find is darkness, hopelessness, heartbreak. Have we ever thought that could be, cause we insist in looking in the same places? Music:  ⁠⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Apologising or making amends is good but what's equally important is understanding what triggered us.  Music:  ⁠⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

I am broken, a bit. Battered by life, hurt by people, shaken up by the vicissitudes of life. But, I am alive. And while there's a breath in my body, nothing's going to keep me from living. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Life keeps throwing challenges and situations our way.  Simultaneously, it also hands out opportunities for us to achieve whatever we want.  Music:  ⁠⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

In life, so often we only look at what has been taken away from us during a period. And decide Life has been unfair to us. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

If we keep assuming people will let us down, they will. If, we show trust in them, they will live up to it. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Whether at work or with our better halves/kids/parents/friends, there is a tendency to want to speak more than listen. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

We're not talking about the lies we tell others. Just about the ones, we tell ourselves. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Ask not when Life's going to give us what we are craving. Ask what we are doing with what Life has already given us. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Pretty often, we carry the baggage of that disturbed night into the day and have a seriously below par one. But why? The very fact that darkness has given way to light is a clear indication that one has nothing to do with the other. Music:  ⁠⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

We never know when Life will rain down opportunities into our life. But when it does we have to be ready to seize them. Music:  ⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Are we feeding our fears or are we feeding our drive and determination to seize our dreams? Music:  ⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Hurt comes not from the love, but our expectations and attachment. It's not the heart that is hurt, but our ego.  Music:  ⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

Everything comes into our life for a reason and season. And having done what they came to do, they exit. Now, it's up to us to accept that gracefully and not try and hold on.  Music:  ⁠⁠https://www.purple-planet.com⁠

The Devil whispers into my ear, telling me that I will fail, that I am not good enough, reminding me of everyone who has said something on these lines.  Music:  ⁠https://www.purple-planet.com

There's no shame on saying - I'm struggling, I need help. Way better than landing up into a dark place where no one can reach us.  Music:  ⁠https://www.purple-planet.com

There's an insidious little voice inside our head, constantly playing games with us. The voice will try and break our confidence, deter us from our goals, make us feel we are not good enough. Music: https://www.purple-planet.com
