True healing begins when we recognize our condition, stop making excuses, hear the voice of Jesus, and walk in obedience. Transformation doesn’t come from information alone, but from responding to Christ in faith and living from His grace.

Psalm 42-43 reminds us that even strong believers experience seasons where the darkness does not lift. In those moments, faith is not the absence of struggle, but the decision to bring our pain to God, preach truth to our souls, and hold onto hope. Even when we cannot feel it, God is still present, still working, and we shall again praise Him.

In Philippians 4:4-9, Paul teaches that true peace Is not found in the absences of life’s storms, but in the presence of God within them. Through rejoicing, prayer, right thinking, and consistent practice, believers can experience a peace that guards their hearts and minds. In John 1, we see that every true encounter with Jesus begins with a searching heart and ends with a call to follow and tell others. While many were looking for a conquering king, Jesus revealed Himself as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The question Jesus asked then; “What do you seek?” Is the same question He asks every person today.

John’s Gospel shows us that when the Light of Christ shines into the world, a response is unavoidable. God sent John the Baptist as a witness to point people to Jesus, yet some reject the Light while others receive Him and are given the privilege of becoming children of God. The passage calls believers to live as faithful witnesses and invites unbelievers to surrender to Christ as Lord.

John begins his Gospel by taking us behind the manger and back into eternity, revealing that Jesus is the eternal Word who is fully God and was with God from the beginning. He is also the Creator through whom all things came into being. Because He is the source of life and light, the only fitting response is not admiration, but worshipful surrender and stepping into His light.

Matthew 2:1-12; Philippians 2:5-11 Jesus is an unexpected King who does not rule through power or force, but through humility, sacrifice, and love. Christmas calls each of us to respond to His kingship, not with admiration alone, but with surrender and obedience.
