The Gospel is God's Power Romans 1:16-17 The Gospel is the power of God for salvation. It is not advice about trying harder, but good news that Jesus already won the decisive victory over sin and death. Because of this, every believer is called to live unashamed of the Gospel, trusting Christ’s finished work and sharing the message with a world in desperate need of hope.

The Bible is God's Word 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105 God’s Word is inspired, authoritative, and sufficient to guide us in every aspect of life. It transforms us as we submit to it, equipping us to take the next step of obedience in a dark and confusing world.

Matthew 28:16-20 Jesus gave the Church a clear mission: to make disciples by going, baptizing, and teaching in His authority. This message reminded us that we must move beyond maintenance and comfort, and recommit ourselves to the mission—beginning with the person in the mirror.

James closes his letter by reminding us that real faith is active—it lives with eternity in view, waits patiently for the Lord, and leans on God through prayer. Faith also cares for others by confessing sins, praying together, and gently restoring those who have wandered.

Conflict begins with selfish desires that corrupt our prayers, damage relationships, and lead to spiritual unfaithfulness. James reminds us that God gives greater grace to the humble, calling us to repentance, submission, and faithful obedience to His will.

True wisdom isn’t measured by knowledge or success but by the fruit it produces. Worldly wisdom leads to jealousy, pride, and division, while godly wisdom shows itself in humility, peace, mercy, and sincerity. The proof of wisdom is seen in our actions and relationships, producing a harvest of righteousness.

James reminds us that our words have immense power—for good or for harm. The tongue can direct lives, destroy relationships, and reveal the condition of our hearts. As followers of Christ, we are called to speak with consistency, grace, and self-control, reflecting a heart transformed by God. Larry Hiles - Lead Minister

Saving faith is always a working faith. James reminds us that genuine belief is proven by our actions—faith and works are not enemies but partners, showing the world that we truly belong to Christ.

James 2:1-13 calls us to reject favoritism and reflect the heart of Jesus in how we treat others. 

James challenges believers to receive God’s Word with humility and respond with action. The one who walks in wisdom will not simply listen, but will live differently demonstrating self-control, a repentant heart, and an obedient life. God’s Word, when received and acted upon, transforms how we speak, relate to others, and serve the world around us.
