Teams in your mirrors may appear closer then it seems, or at least it does for the Dodgers case. Both the Padres and D-Backs are on a 8-2 stretches in their last 10 games and have closed the gap to the Dodgers. Meanwhile it's the first time in over 2 years that the Braves find themselves outside the postseason picture while the White Sox are just glad they won a game 

July players of the month is here and that's not the only news in today's episode,  Phillies are slumping hard right now, the White Sox last win was July 10th and still haven't won a game since the All-Star Break, and Blake Snell's first time pitching in the 9th was for his no-hitter. All this and more today. 

 The trade deadline has come and go and some teams made some big moves while others probably could have done more. Only time will tell if these moves will pay off or not and as of now, the Yankees getting Jazz has definitely helped as he has a great first series with the team and has helped them on their 5 game win streak to tie the Orioles for first in the AL East. 

It's not even the deadline yet and we had so many trades happen that we needed to go over in today's episode. The trade deadline is tomorrow so who else will get shipped + we are nearly in our final 2 months of the season as July comes to a close.

WOW, What an episode I have for you all today, a very special long 1 hour episode filled with trades, a no-hitter and not just one but two breaking news interruptions, the deadline inches closer and closer and it's about time to start narrowing down the teams. 

First series of the second half is in the books and what that, we look ahead to what will be a busy week of trade talks ahead of the trade deadline this year. Not only that be we start taking a larger look at the teams that could still be playing for a playoff spot as a top team in the Astros have risen all the way up to 1st in the AL West.  

We are back with baseball after a week off for the All-Star break. The 2nd half of the season is here and with it comes trade deadline talks, division chases and much more as the rest of the season kicks off today. 

The end of the first half of the season and we had a few series finish it on a bang. Tempers were once again hot between the Orioles and the Yankees, and we got a fun couple of days of All-Star fun before we continue on with the season. 

WOW Paul Skenes, just wow, only 11 games into his MLB career and not only is he an All-Star but he is starting for the NL. Just crazy things and more history for the 22 year old. Meanwhile with one New York team hot and on the rise into a wildcard spot, one is struggling hard and is a pretty tough skid at the moment

The All=Star break is next week and we now know all of the players selected to partake in the game. Meanwhile is what's going on in Boston for real or is it just a phase in the season. All of this and more in today's episode 

We've got a full episode today starting with the June players of the month and later going into which players will be starting the All-Star game in Texas later this month. We also have a first trade here as we get closer to the trade deadline later this month. 

July is here, which means the dog days of summer, the trade deadline and the All-Star game/Home Run Derby is fast approaching, meaning teams are slowly starting to run out of time. That means you got to get hot, and stay hot to stay in the race.  .

*Insert Jaws music here* There is a team lurking in the waters right now, a team that some thought was dead, how could you think that. The Houston Astros are alive and well after winning 7 straight, they are back to .500 as the rest of the American League look on in fear.

 Couple of suspensions to look at this episode as we have a 10 game sticky stuff suspension as well as an 80 game PED suspension as well as a trade and extension to go over. All of this and more for today's episode 

Willie Mays passed away this past week as the baseball community has come together to remember the Say Hey Kid. After that we have a few things to talk about including the Twins 1-1 from 2017, Royce Lewis as well as what's going on in the NL Wildcard. 

Uh oh Dodgers, this might not be good as a couple of their stars in Mookie Betts and Yoshinobu Yamamoto are both heading to the injured list for an extended period, but on the bright side neither are season ending. Also talking about Jose Abreu getting released by the Astros after continuing to struggle plus more in today's episode 

Took him a bit but June Kyle Schwarber is here and I'm sure the tear he will go on will last the rest of the month. Meanwhile Biggio has been traded to the Dodgers as this weeks games was filled with walk offs and big home runs.  

God save the king, MLB goes across the world for the London Series this past week which brought out 2 great games between the Mets and Phillies, the White Sox end their huge losing streak plus more in todays episode 

Got a lot to chat about and after the May players of the month, this episode gets negative, talking about bad things like bans, suspensions, DFA's, 14 game losing streaks and much more today 

New York, New York, New York, can anyone stop Judge and Soto and that rotation that remind you, is missing CY Young Winner Gerrit Cole, meanwhile we got a 14 inning game, and Tommy Pham in the middle of something once again. 

Angel Hernandez retired. That's it, that's all we should care about and talk about, but in other news Jorge Lopez had a whole situation and how throwing his glove and having some miscommunicated comments led to him being DFA'd, all this plus much more in today's episode 

Bad news for Braves fans as Ronald Acuna Jr has suffered a season ending torn ACL injury for the second time of his young career. Meanwhile in the AL Central, Guardians and Royals fighting for the top would both find themselves on 8 game win streaks. Only 1 would make it 9. 

What a crazy week filled with sweeps, comebacks, walkoffs and extra inning games. Not my best episode in terms of how I'm feeling but we push through and hopefully was able to provided what was needed. Lot of teams that were good last year that aren't this year. Wonder if that will hold up?  We talk about that plus more in today's episode 

Shota Shota Shota, continues to be incredible but he's got some top tier talent in Paul Skenes joining him in that division, meanwhile Edwin Diaz is one of the few closers and/or relief pitchers that have a hard time this year compared to previous years, looking at that and more in todays episode  

Ronel Blanco was ejected from his game this week after umpires found hm to be using sticky stuff leading to the usual 10 game suspension, on a positive note the Astros have looked much better as of late and are hoping to continue that into the weekend, meanwhile which team is currently on the best win streak and why is it the Colorado Rockies.
