A FRIENDLY INVASION 22.05.2026 1:38
A large section of our lawn has been invaded by fragrant lilies-of-the valley. Years ago, I transplanted a couple of shovels full of both white and pink ones, and now they have spread. I think about positive acts of kindness when one spreads to others. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
MAGICAL PLACES 21.05.2026 1:36
One of my magical places is sitting on the bench at the top of the lupine field and looking at the clouds float above the mountains. I feel connected to the vast Cosmos beyond. I have come to realize I have had magical places going back to my childhood. I believe we all have a magical place where we can connect and be open to miracles and guidance in our lives. www.michaelhathaway.com Support th...
TIME TO PAUSE AND TAKE A DEEP BREATH 20.05.2026 1:32
When I opened the outside door, I was greeted by the beautiful fragrance of lilacs in full bloom. There is nothing like that smell, and I have learned to take the time over the next week or so to take a breath of gratitude because I will not experience them again until next year. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
WHITE DAFFODILS 19.05.2026 1:17
There is a white daffodil blooming in the Ormond Garden at the Center. People tell me they have never seen one of that color. I love diversity in a flower garden as well as life in general. I love when diversity comes together positively in life to enhance the soul’s journey. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
DISCOVERING SOMETHING NEW 18.05.2026 1:32
A tiny glossy variegated leaf caught my eye just off the trail to the Lupine Field. It may have had some sort of bloom, but I couldn’t tell. I couldn’t find anything like it in a couple of flower books. It may be something I will recognize from a different angle. Life is like that. There is always something new to discover. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
LADIES IN WAITING 17.05.2026 1:45
The lady slippers are poking up through the leaves and beginning take shape. When they have blossomed, we like to count how many we can find. Another favorite thing is to watch people develop their abilities and start to use them positively to bring joy to others. Some bloom right away while others take a little longer to open. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
THE ENDING OF A DRY SPELL 16.05.2026 2:01
This part of our state has been experiencing moderate to severe drought. The last few days of rain will go a long way to change that. Dry spells in life often end in a deluge of movement, flooding our brains as we rush to capture it all before another dry spell. It is important to keep a balance between the highs and lows. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
PLANTING THE SEEDS 15.05.2026 1:48
Nature is a master at planting seeds that cover the landscape, including two English Hawthorn trees at the edge of the lupine field. In the late spring they produce white flowers that turn into red berries later in the season. People can plant seeds in the soul’s landscape by positive acts of kindness that can grow and spread. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
TRUE BLUE 14.05.2026 1:26
When I see violets blossoming, I think of the old phrase, “true blue”. To me that means honesty and sincerity. The violets represent my feelings, and that made me think about true blue people, those who set their intentions for the greater good, not only for the environment, but in all aspects of life. You can represent this higher vibration by helping to change the energy of the world. www.michae...
I WONDER WHAT'S IN THE WATER 13.05.2026 2:12
There is a place on the trail to the Lupine Field where the ground is wet, and the water draining across appears to have oil on it (or something that looks like oil). I wonder what is in that water. I wonder about a lot of things as I wander. Perhaps I should pay more attention rather than letting things go unresolved. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
SPLASHES OF COLOR 12.05.2026 1:16
Some of the tulips that were planted last year in the Ormond Gardens have opened, providing little splashes of color while the rest of the perennials still have a ways to go to flower. Life provides us with little splashes of color all year round with things that create heart-felt sharable gratitude that brings joy to all that are aware. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
THE FIDDLERS ARE IN TUNE 11.05.2026 1:35
The strings on the fiddlehead ferns have been tuned to the right pitch by Nature and ready to provide a feast for all. There are so many things in Nature that remind me of other positive elements in our lives. It is a connection that most of us experience every day. I consider it the Nature of our lives. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
TINY SMILES 10.05.2026 1:25
On Mother’s Day tiny bluets remind me of the smiles of children being brought up in a loving environment by their guardians, especially their mothers. Tiny smiles can make a big difference in the world. www.michaelhathaway.com Support the show
EXPECTATIONS 09.05.2026 1:54
A patch of wild strawberry blossoms caught my eye as I wandered about the Orchard. I smiled as I was filled with the expectation of tiny red treats soon to be enjoyed. Of course, wildlife is also expecting the same thing and may eat them before people get to them. Lots of times expectations turn out differently than anticipated. Just maybe, something better is waiting. www.michaelhathaway.com Su...
THE SWEETNESS OF SPRING 08.05.2026 1:28
It is so invigorating to be in the heart of the sweetness of spring. The pear tree and plumb tree are in bloom with the lilacs only a week or so away. It is also the time when many people are feeling that energy and desire to finally emerge from winter and join with Nature in discovering life again for the first time. Support the show
GROWING WILD 07.05.2026 1:52
With spring underway, I love to wander about the fields and trails on the lookout for wildflowers. Recently, I spotted delicate yellow flowers (I think called “wild oats”) that could easily be missed if I was not paying attention. And that reminded me of positive acts of kindness that happen when no one is noticing. They are like wild kindnesses. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from-the-mountain.h...
MANY CHANGES TAKING PLACE 06.05.2026 1:55
Finally, the beech trees have lost their old leaves, and new ones are popping out. Spring has taken over. Of course, changes are taking place every day in all aspects of life, some welcome and some not. I believe that people can use more heart-based love to send out positive energy and help change the world for the better. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from-the-mountain.html Support the show
SLOWLY DISAPPEARING 05.05.2026 1:49
The sunset view out my front window is slowly disappearing now that the leaves are beginning to grow. Soon all I will be able to see is the green of the trees. In life some things slowly disappear without our realizing it. I think the key is to always use positive thoughts and actions, being aware of the moment. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from-the-mountain.html Support the show
BEAUTY COMES IN ALL SIZES 04.05.2026 1:33
The miniature grape hyacinth caught my eye in a section of the Center’s gardens. It reminded me that beauty comes in all sizes. People often judge beauty by size and miss something small that is just as beautiful. Little acts of kindness that go unnoticed can lead to big impacts on others. There are many different sized flowers in the garden of life. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from-the-mounta...
LINES IN THE SKY 03.05.2026 1:45
Have you ever noticed, on a day with clear blue sky, many jets flying in different directions spreading their exhaust trails until they merge. Then suddenly the sky is filled with a cover of clouds. Conspiracy theorists call these lines chem trails. I don’t know the reason for many things; I just ask my team for the right guidance to help spread heart-based positive energy. www.michaelhathaway.com...
THE CALL OF THE SEA 02.05.2026 1:52
I don’t exactly remember when I realized the sea was calling me. Perhaps it was the children’s story about a toy sailboat that travelled down a river that ended up in the ocean. However, I know now that I need to visit the coast a few times a year to experience the smells, the sounds and the feeling. I believe everyone has a connection in their soul that leads us to adventures. What is yours? www....
HEDGING MY BET 01.05.2026 1:57
My parents gave us forsythia after we built our house nearly 60 years ago, and 30 years later we received more for the Center. A dozen years ago I transplanted several in hopes of screening off the road. Now it is a colorful hedge. Listening to our positive heart-based goals can help us know when to proceed or not. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from-the-mountain.html Support the show
EXPECTATIONS 30.04.2026 1:29
As I approached the road to the Orchard, I noticed two deer feeding across from the entrance. One of them was larger than the other and appeared to be expecting. There may be a new fawn as spring progresses. We have a lot of expectations in life, many of them ego driven that never reaching fulfilment. I set my intentions that my expectations come from my heart. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from...
THE FICKLENESS OF SPRING 29.04.2026 1:39
There is an old song, “Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most”. I often think of it when winter does not want to give up, like this year. When life does not live up to my expectations, I know something is guiding me that knows much more than me. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from-the-mountain.html Support the show
IT ISN'T OVER 'TIL ITS OVER 28.04.2026 1:49
I can still see the snow-covered peak of Mt. Washington. When he was young, my grandson used to call them “the Ice Age”. Some of the snow could last until August. Time and the weather will tell. We have things that hang on in life far longer than we would like. We need to set our intentions for positive results to help them manifest. www.michaelhathaway.com/message-from-the-mountain.html Support t...
