L.I.F.E. (which stands for Listening and Inspiring Friends in Entertainment) used to be a live monthly event held at Icon Studios in Atlanta,Georgia. Founded by Stone Stafford, L.I.F.E. was to be a place where people in entertainment could come together and learn valuable life lessons while also being able to share challenges and difficulties in their careers and personal lives. Then COVID happened. At the persistent urging of his co-host, Jony Van, Stone made the pivot to taking L.I.F.E. to the podcasting platform. So welcome, to L.I.F.E. on podcast. Send us Fan Mail When it comes to achieving greatness in life, the earlier you get started the better.  The path to success is wrought with challenges, obstacles, mistakes and failures.  All of these things are often necessary evils of the journey and consume life's most precious resource.  Time. So when is it too late to get started if you missed the "early" train?  Is it ever too...

108. Lesson from Jada Smith: Airing Personal Business for the Sake of Helping Others? 01.11.2021

Send us Fan Mail Living your life in the public eye isn't as easy as it may look to those on the outside. Celebrities constantly have to guard what is private and strategically share what may be deemed as too personal.  Recently Jada Smith opened up about an aspect of her and Will's intimate relations that has many people are crying "Foul"!   Do you think she crossed the line a...

107. Good Friend. Bad Referral. 25.10.2021

Send us Fan Mail Someone comes to you with an opportunity and they are asking for a referral. A good friend of yours has the experience and knowledge to potentially be a great fit. However, what you know that they don't, is that this friend could be a nightmare to them and a smear on your name because you refer them.  So what do you do? Do you stand in the way of an opportunity for a friend?...

106. What Will Your Eulogy Sound Like? 18.10.2021

Send us Fan Mail One of the root causes of everything from depression to poverty to just merely existing is not feeling like you have a purpose in this life. It's not having anything to live for or accomplish.  Well, this week we discuss a pretty cool, albeit slightly morbid, hack to help overcome that feeling of empty waywardness.  Ask yourself this question:  When I die, what would you like...

"ATL Kris",  (mix engineer and live production manager for such artists as Migos, Omarion and many more) and how he's navigated the ever changing music industry and remained working and thriving. 104. Protecting Your Health in the Biz 04.10.2021

Send us Fan Mail “I’ll sleep when I die.” “Sleep is for suckas.” Those catch phrases may sound tough and motivating, but they’re as unrealistic (and damaging) as me or Jony winning Grammy’s Best Male Vocalists!  Truth is, not enough people in life, let alone the entertainment industry, take care of their health and we see the unfortunate results around us every day. Radio host and entrepreneur Mik...

103. Long Money vs. Short Money 27.09.2021

Send us Fan Mail Mase said, "I don't understand the language of people with short money."  We have a long associated "short money" to mean "no money".  But that's not quite accurate. In this episode we discuss the real definition and difference between short money and long money mentality and which one you should adopt in order to set yourself up for life! S...

102. Labels or Leadership 20.09.2021

Send us Fan Mail CEO.  President. Executive. Owner. Boss.  We love the titles because they insinuate power, authority and most importantly - leadership.  The entertainment industry puts a lot of weight on titles and labels, but wearing the label doesn't produce the character.  Being in a position of authority doesn't automatically make someone a leader.  "Leader" isn't a t...

101. To Shot or Not To Shot, Zot is the Question! 13.09.2021

Send us Fan Mail Vaccinations are on the rise but not even close to the satisfaction of many government and heath officials.  As companies (entertainment and media companies alike) are beginning to adopt requiring vaccinations for employment, to work on set, and to be involved in projects in any capacity, if you are unvaccinated, what are you prepared to do? 100. Placing Your Vet (CENTENNIAL EPISODE!) 06.09.2021

Send us Fan Mail From Mike Richards on Jeopardy to fake High School football teams, the lack of vetting and research was already destroying the internet via social media, but now it seems it has seeped its way  into worlds where background checks are crucial for integrity purposes. Support the show https://www.youtube.com/@lifeonpodcast/videos

99. Are You Stealing Enough 30.08.2021

Send us Fan Mail King Solomon once said: "there is nothing new under the sun."  No truer words have been spoken when it comes to entertainment, particularly in the area of music.  At this point in time, no music is actually created (if you are judging by the dictionary definition of "create"), but rather it is merely invented. As a music creator (Lol! See what we did there), on...

98. How To Become and Overnight Success 23.08.2021

Send us Fan Mail You've heard it said a million times.  "Nothing happens overnight".  Or, "overnight success takes ten years to achieve".  But what if you  really could have success overnight?  What if what we are looking for isn't so much instant success, but instant goal achievement.  You see, once you realize that the success you're defining by reaching your g...

97. The World Is Your Muse 17.08.2021

Send us Fan Mail From writer's block to career dissatisfaction to the feeling of having no purpose, the common cause for each of these conundrums is often the lack of a spark.  An inspiration.  Amazingly enough, we often spend so much time in search of this inspiration when we fail to realize that there is inspiration all around us happening every minute of every day.  We only have to look an...

96. Impressions 09.08.2021

Send us Fan Mail You only get one chance to make a first impression. It only takes a person 7-10 seconds for form an initial evaluation or perception of you.  Everything you do from that point on is either substantiating or disproving that perception.  Support the show https://www.youtube.com/@lifeonpodcast/videos

95. Is Higher Education Necessary? 02.08.2021

Send us Fan Mail The decision to go to college faces millions of students and adults every year. We all know stories of higher education recipients who have gone on to change the world. We have also heard stories of amazing men and women who haven't seen the inside of a college yet have gone on to impact the world as well.   What about entertainment?  Should you go to college to learn music p...

94. Small Beginnings 26.07.2021

Send us Fan Mail An oak tree started as an acorn. Google, Amazon and Apple started in garages. J.K. Rowling was a single mother on welfare. Sean "Diddy" Combs started as an intern. And so on, and so on.... Stop griping about your small beginning. What makes you so special that you should "skip the line" and circumvent the process? 93. SpotLife on: Raab Stevenson 19.07.2021

92. One Bad Apple 12.07.2021

Send us Fan Mail "One bad apple destroys the whole bunch."  It's a saying we've all heard at some point in our lives. But why is that?  Why does one bad apple destroy an entire bushel? Why can't a good apple improve the whole bunch. Unfortunately, life (and science) don't quite work that way.   Listen to hear why. Support the show https://www.youtube.com/@lifeonpodcas...

91. W.A.D.A. We Do Now? The Sha'Carri Richardson story 06.07.2021

Send us Fan Mail As we watch America rally behind the young up-and-coming phenom, Sha'Carri Richardson - who was apparently America's best hope for Olympic gold in the women's 100 meters - who is at fault?  Does the blame lie solely on outdated controlled substance rules and testing by the World Anti-Doping Agency?  Does the blame lie on Sha'Carri not adhering to those rules re...
