Oh that cartoon is FUNNY! Amy Gross-Kehoe is the guest on this episode. Amy's mother had dementia, and her last few months were not at all what the family expected. Dementia is a roller-coaster ride. It certainly was for Amy!

All of us know someone with Alzheimer's.  And remember, there are over 200 types of dementia.  So you may know someone with a different type of dementia.  However, Alzheimer's among the Latino and Hispanic communities is out of control.  Why is this?

When someone affirms us and our work, our day is improved substantially.  When you affirm your LO, their day is improved in ways that cannot be measured.  Scripture says, "God is within her, she will not fall" (Psalm 46:5)  Reminding ourselves, our neighbors, the grocery clerk, your LO, and everyone you meet that God is within them and they will not fall can be a wonderful affirmation.  Call them...
