Camptonville Man Arrested For Burglary On Christmas Day 29.12.2023

A Camptonville man was arrested on December 25th after a traffic stop on Highway 49 in Nevada City. He was wearing the same clothing as a suspect captured in a surveillance video of a burglary of a contractor's storage container. The man was in possession of a check made out to him for $2,000 with "tools" written in the memo. 

ABC Funded Operation Stings Two 27.12.2023

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of two suspects for furnishing alcohol to minors. The penalty is a minimum $1,000 fine and 24 hours of community service.
