A Camptonville man was arrested on December 25th after a traffic stop on Highway 49 in Nevada City. He was wearing the same clothing as a suspect captured in a surveillance video of a burglary of a contractor's storage container. The man was in possession of a check made out to him for $2,000 with "tools" written in the memo. 

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of two suspects for furnishing alcohol to minors. The penalty is a minimum $1,000 fine and 24 hours of community service. 

PostNet on Sutton Way in Grass Valley is now closed. All of the mail stored there is now waiting at the East Main Street post office in Grass Valley.
