The Bible is no ordinary book; it is a library of 66 books divided into the Old and New Testaments but it has one common story and a shared hope. In Peter's second letter he tells us that he and the apostles have not followed made up myths or fabulous fantasies but we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed.

We look into Chapter 4 of the book of Ruth as Boaz sets out his plan to redeem Ruth. He is committed to bringing her into his family, no matter the cost. In so doing he will secure an inheritance for Elimelech but unknowlingly he is following God's plan to secure an inheritance for us in this time and day.

The story of Ruth continues as Naomi and Ruth hatch a plan to find a secure home and place of rest. This time they are determined to follow God's plan and a new future and hope emerge not only for them but for us as well!

We continue our exploration of the Book of Ruth. This time we step back from the narative to look at some of the themes behind the story. In God's Hand, On God's Heart and Under God's Wing.

As we follow Naomi's return to Bethlehem with Ruth we see how God has been at work to bring them to a new dream. This time God is in their dream for a new life and they begin to see that God is for them and not against them.

We begin our new series on the Book of Ruth in Bible. The story of Ruth includes every aspect of a great story with; romance, tradegy, sacrifice and redemption. Themes that still resonate today. In this first episode Naomi sets out with her family in the hope of a better life in the land of Moab.

Steve Horton brings a message from the opening chapter of the Old Testament book of Isaiah. The words God spoke through the prophet speak to us in our generation with great relevance.

Part 2 of our message for Easter from John Chapter 11. When Jesus arrives in Bethany, Lazarus has been dead for four days. 'Lord if you had been here' say Martha and Mary, it would not have been like this. Their expectations had not been met but Jesus shows them that he is the resurrection and the life. In him is our everlasting hope in times of trouble and heartbreak.

Two Easter messages from Steve Dunster on the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Part 1 Jesus goes to Behtany. Martha and Mary send a message to Jesus that 'the one you love is sick'. Jesus delays coming and Martha and Mary's expectations of Jesus are not met. But he had even greater purpose than they had supposed. The story of the resurrection of Lazarus is taken in two parts.

Isaiah 40 is one of the greatest chapters in the Bible as the prophet foresees God himself coming to rescue his people. Steve Dunster brings a message that as we wait on the LORD we will be raised up on eagles wings to see his glory.

In our final message from Paul's first letter to the church in Corinth Steve Dunster brings a message from Chapter 15 and verses 35-58. Paul has made the resurrection of Jesus from the dead the foundation for our hope of a future resurrection for all believers. As he closes this section of the letter he describes the glory of our resurrection life.

Don Morrison brings a message from chpater 8 of the Gospel of Luke. Jesus meets with a man who is possessed by demonic spirits. This mans encounter with Jesus is life changing and he becomes a follower of Jesus.

The hope that we have as believers in Jesus is rooted in the resurrection. Both the resurrection of Jesus that has already happened and our future resurrection when Jesus returns. Paul sets out that we can be certain of our hope in Christ

Junction One Church celebrates our 4th anniversary, giving thanks to God for his faithfulness. Steve Dunster brings a message from Isaiah Chapter 40 of God's purpose to bring blessing to us through the gospel.

Steve Dunster speaks from 1 Corinthians Chapter 15 verses 1-11 on the Good News of the gospel. Christ died for our sins according to the scripture, that he was buried and raised on the third day. God's grace in the gospel is sufficient for us all.

Paul Mallard preaches from the apostle Paul's letter to the church in Philippi on the life that God is calling us to live. A vigilant, radical and a contented life.

Thre great truth of Christmas is that God himself came down into our broken world to be with us. This is still true today as we can really know God with us. Even when everything seems to be going wrong we can through Jesus know God's presence and his blessing.

Paul sees love as the greatest manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the church. He challenges teh believers to be those who love like Jesus. This is no easy or comfortable message but hard hitting and challenging. Love is to be the foundation upon which we build and live.

Peter encourages the believes to recognise the glorious and certain hope that is theirs through faith in Jesus Christ. Though we pass through times of trouble and suffering, God is proving the genuineness of our faith which leads to glory.

In Chapter 12 Paul begins to address the issues around how the Holy Spirit is to empower the believers in the church. THe wants them to understand that it is only by the Holy Spirit that we can demostrate the lordship of Jesus Christ. The Spirit that was at work in Jesus is the same Spirit that is now in the Church.

In Chapter 12 of 1 Corinthians Paul addresses how the Holy Spirit is manifest in the church. H considers the variety of gifts, service and activities that come from the Holy Spirit. As we are informed about the Spirit we are increasingly transformed by the Spirit.

In chapter 11 of Paul's letter to the church in Corinth he addresses teh issues of how they were 'coming together' to partake in the Lord's Supper. He reminds them that they should be demonstrating unity and love instead they were displaying divisions. Paul passes on to them what he had received from the Lord

Paul shows the believers in Corinth that the wisdom of men is really 'fake' wisdom but the true wisdom of God is revealed by the Spirit and is the route to glory.

All of us experience divisions and quarelling, it is part of the human condition but God calls us to be be united in the same mind and same judgement. Paul directs the believers in Corinth to the cross as the one sure foundation for our unity.

We begin our new series looking at Paul's first letter to the church in Corinth. Paul describes the believers as being 'in Corinth' and 'in Christ'. We will explore how God is calling us to be his witnesses and to grow more and more in likeness to Christ.
