Sunday 23rd February 2025. In today's message we look into John's Gospel Ch4 where Jesus meets the Samaritan woman by the well. He sees the time that has now come when all those who worship God do so in Spirit and truth.

Sunday 16th February 2025. Jesus shows that the way of living well with God and other people is not found through the law but through a new and living relationship with him.

Sunday 9th Fevbruary 2025 Jesus has not come to abolish the law but to fulfill everything that was written in the scriptures. Jesus lives out the scriptures and he is calling us to do the same. This is only possible because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Sunday 2nd February Jesus tells his kingdom people that they are the 'salt of the earth' and the 'light of the world'. He tells them of their new identity that comes from their relationship to him. They have received blessing so that they might be a blessing.

Sunday 26th January 2025 Peter Skerratt brings a message to Junction One from Exodus chapter 18 when Jethro came to meet with Moses as he led the people of Israel out of Egypt to the promised land. Words spoken long ago but with a life giving message for us today!

Sunday 19th January 2025 The Beatitudes are the blessings that Jesus spoke to those who come to him. They were blessings for the ordinary and everyday people who knew the hard knocks and unfairness of life. They are the true blessings that can be found nowhere else.

Sunday 12 Jan 2025 We begin our new series looking at the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew's Gospel. The series title is 'Living in the Way of Jesus with the Heart of Jesus. In this first message we consider who are the people who are blessed.

Sunday 5th January 2025 At the beginning of 2025 we look to a year ahead in which we can enter into the peace and rest that God has prepared for us through Jesus - The Lord of the Sabbath.

We conclude our look into the first three chapters of the Bible by considering the consquences of the man and the woman to choosing not to listen to the voice of God. Struggle and pain have become part of the human experience. In judgement God's grace shines through so that our hope is not in ourselves but in our God who loves us and makes a way for us to know the blessings of a life in fellowship...

Even though the man and the woman have forsaken God's way God is determined to demonstrate his continued care. He sets emnity between the seed of the woman and the snake and his seed. God's plan has not changed and we see the beginning of the way that God has made for us to fulfill the purpose he has for his people.

In Genesis chapter 3 we are confronted with our failure to walk with the LORD in obedience and trust. Though we decided to go our own way God does not leave us but comes to find the man and woman. God's plan for us continues to unfold in this early chapter of the book.

We continue our exploration of Genesis chapter 2 looking at the account of the placing of man and the woman in the garden. It is not good that man (Adam) is alone and so God makes one who will be alongside him so together the can fulfil God's purpose for them.

Genesis Chapter 2 tells us that God formed man out of the dust of the earth. We are dust but we are more than dust. As we look into this chapter we see that we have the potential for an everlasting relationship to the God who made us. How are we to live in this relationship? Genesis chapter 2 gives us the answer

In this episode we consider what it means to be created in God's image. We are made by God, modelled on God and matched with God.

As we continue our exploration of the beginning of the beginning in the book of Genesis we consider how God creates order and purpose. God's character is indelibly imprinted on his creation. He is the God of Shalom and he brings peace and order from the chaos.

First lines of books give clues to the content and story. The same is true for the book of books, the Bible. As we being our exploration of the opening three chapters of Genesis we will focus on how Genesis gives the key to understaning and interpreting the whole of the Bible story.
