Jesus Time!

It is so easy to confuse a dry season in our faith with sin in our lives. God is so sweet to offer truth, hope, and wisdom to discern which is which and how to respond. Tune in!

There are seasons in the life of a Jesus follower that don't feel good. In fact, there are times that one can feel completely discouraged, numb, and lost. Please tune in to hear how disillusionment is not a bad thing, but a necessary mentor for our spiritual formation.

Sometimes I read the scriptures and don’t feel uplifted. And yet God speaks, life-giving words into my situation that I desperately need to hear!

Does God like you? I spent a couple of weeks are convinced that God didn’t like me and feeling very distant from Him. Please listen in to hear how God sweetly reaffirmed His affections!!

Things go wrong all the time— on our vacation, in life, and in the book of Acts. We’re going to look at two responses/interventions of God when things go wrong, and how one way or the other He always comes through!

Plans fall apart, people get sick, ER visits are long, and God is there for all of it. The help that God sends is not just theoretical, but it is personal, both for your soul and your practical needs.

Am I doing enough? Am I working hard enough? Am I loving people enough? Am I doing too much? These questions can plague me so often, but these are NOT always helpful questions to ask. Living in this state of uncertainty can tempt us to look around and measure ourselves, and our work, by what others are doing. God’s way is always better!
