We reshape  him to fit our personal preferences, treating him as a genie we can control and who exists mainly to give us the things we want. The true God won't be changed, but he will change us.

The Sabbath is God’s invitation to stop striving and rediscover rest, not as a burden but as a blessing that restores our souls and relationships.
