Having a true picture of God can only come when we understand His heart for us, and it is that picture of God that changes our lives forever.

The stakes are raised on the wager, resulting in Job’s physical torment. What sense can we make of a God who allows this level of suffering on those he loves?

Can suffering be at a level so great where to not exist is better than to exist? Job wrestles with this question through a series of curses and questions.

We gravitate to the people who are most like us because they are the most comfortable to be around and the easiest to love. But Jesus calls his followers to a radical love that pushes us beyond our comfort zones and transcends traditional boundary lines so that the world might see the power of God’s unifying love within his family of faith.

Speaker: Pastor Peter ChoIt's hard to fully trust in God when we rely on our own wisdom and insist on our own way. But God invites us into an exciting journey with him which can only come when we fully trust his heart and wisdom and submit to his will.

An Important part of the journey of faith is to believe that God is good even in the face of chaos and pain. Faith invites us to believe that there is a greater purpose to suffering.

When we experience suffering we want to know why we’re going through it, but God invites us to think about the purpose that it plays in our lives.

As we age, may we never lose our passion for Jesus, the one who is worthy of all our praise and worship. 

Loving someone seems not only illogical but unhelpful in broken relationships and yet by faith this is what Jesus calls us to do. It is God’s love alone that can heal all things.

The Sabbath can feel like just another burdensome religious command if we miss God’s message and mission behind it. But when we embrace Jesus as the source of the Sabbath, the lord of the Sabbath, and the hope of the Sabbath we can live empowered by the gospel of the Kingdom.

Biblical friendship is a rare relational bond of affection that is built on truth, covenantal trust, and trial. This is essential in order to have the abundant life Christ has for His followers.

Learning from Jesus requires a posture of humility and surrender, trusting that his wisdom is greater than our own. He is worthy of this trust.

God gives us a spirit of self-control so that we can resist the temptations around us and live an intentional life honoring to God in our actions and our heart.

In a self-obsessed world, we are called to fi our eyes on God by whose love we can love others.

To be gentle is to deal with others humanely, treating them not as they deserve but with the same compassion and understanding with which God treats us.

Faithfulness is essential to every healthy relationship and is an expression of godly character employed for the benefit of others.

Eternal life is so much more than living forever. It speaks to the quality of the life that Jesus offers us--a life lived in relationship with him, under his caring leadership over us.

To reflect God’s goodness and kindness means that we are creatively mindful of all the ways that we can thoughtfully and proactively help others in their moments of need.

Peace with God leads to the peace of God, which ultimately turns us into his peacemakers who participate with him in the restoring work of bringing shalom to his creation.
