God’s ways are infinitely complex and beyond our understanding. Rather than revealing to us the reasons behind his ways, he invites us to a life of trust in his goodness and love toward us.

God’s justice calls us to look after the needs of those who are most powerless and unable to help themselves.

True freedom is found in the deliverance from sin that Jesus alone can provide, not only through the cross but also through the Spirit who helps us live in the power of new life.

The cross is the ultimate expression of God’s love for us, showing us the depth of his commitment to us.

We struggle to express our emotions to God because sometimes we don’t know how to make sense of them or we feel alone when we express them. But God gave us feelings to understand what is happening inside our hearts and to come to him with them so that we might know He loves us and is with us no matter what we feel.

God does not give you an assignment without giving you the tools to complete the assignment.

Even the deepest of griefs encountered from losing someone you love cannot stop the heart of God from ministering to you.

Rich generosity is the expression of a heart overflowing with joy that comes from the grace of God.

Do we find ourselves in judgment of God and his ways, thinking that we would know how to run this world better than him? None of us can “out-God” God.

Through prayer we can experience a life-changing renovation of our hearts so that we are transformed into the likeness of Jesus.

Prayer is the gateway into relationship with God--the One Thing that he desires above all else for us.

The story of Jesus’ birth is filled with people who normally are excluded--the marginalized, the misfits, the ones who don’t belong. It shows us that the hope of the Christmas story is for everyone, even those who don’t feel like they have a part in this story.

Even through life's darkest disappointments, they can become entry points for God's unexpected blessings in Christ.

We struggle to walk fully in the promises of God because we impose our own definitions of when and how they should be fulfilled by God in our lives. But God invites us into an extraordinary life of faith that is not limited by our own plans and presuppositions, offering us far more than we can hope for or imagine.

We can be smart in so many areas of knowledge and yet be totally lacking in wisdom when it comes to living life well. The Bible tells us that God alone is the source of all true wisdom.

Based on his limited personal experience Job makes some sweeping and unwarranted conclusions about who God is and how he cares over his creation. We are often guilty of doing the same.

We often struggle to receive God's love fully because we do not understand God’s true nature or our own. But God has given us pictures of sheep and a shepherd to show us what He is like, what we are like and what it means to follow Him.

In a world where the righteous suffer and the wicked go unpunished, it seems as though God’s system of justice is broken. How do we square the injustice that we see in our world with what God tells us in his Word?

We trap God in the confines of our own logic and experience, but God’s ways are higher and more mysterious than we could imagine.
