If a decision you make is truly acceptable and God's will, then it will not contradict what is in the Bible. You don't have to violate God's will in order to carry out His will. If a man and woman get divorced, the woman gets saved, and neither of them has remarried, would it be ok if they got married again? Or, does the Lord even recognize their divorce to begin with? Are they fornicating if they are intimate with each other prior to being remarried?

There is a multitude of different things that people in this world love, live for, and build their life upon, but it is all empty and vanity without Christ.

When should Christians leave a church? Sadly many Christians are willing to leave sound, biblical churches just over preferences. What are the issues that are worth leaving for?

Jesus Christ was rejected by the Jews as their Messiah when He walked on this earth. But people are still rejecting Him today, and not only rejecting Him but rejecting Him for the very same reason the Jews rejected Him. Why would people reject Jesus Christ?

Jesus taught and promised amazing things to His disciples the night before He died. One of these amazing promises is that they would have fullness of joy that no one would be able to take away. He promised joy that would remain with them even in the midst of suffering.

One of the major ways Christ became like us was that He was able to suffer in the same ways we do. When He went to the cross, He suffered as a man in every way imaginable. And the worst part of this, of course, was His spiritual suffering from bearing our sin and being forsaken by God.

Jesus said that we would do the same works that He did and even greater works. This is a glorious promise and it’s given to every believer. But we must ask the question: what does this promise mean? John 14:12 - Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

One of the subtle ways we sin is by showing respect of persons in the church. Do you treat the well known and gifted people in the church the same way as the struggling and unknown ones in the church?

We’ve been given a Book that contains the revelation of God and who He is. Because this Book is given to us, we should expect to be able to understand most parts of it. But because this Book is about the eternal God, we should also expect that there will be some parts that exceed our human limitations of understanding. The secret things belong to God, but the revealed things belong to us.

There are many wars that have taken place and are taking place in this world. But one of the greatest wars constantly taking place is in the mind of Christians. Evil and wicked thoughts can bombard our minds incessantly and greatly grieve us. What are some things that can help us in this hellish warfare?

The great hope of every Christian is that the grave will not be the end for them when they die. Jesus Christ will one day raise them up to everlasting life. Jesus has authority over death, and He proved this during His earthly life as He raised the dead back to life.

We must learn, as Paul did, to be content. Being discontent is a sin and is believing the lie that God made a mistake in our life. But if we get to the root of our discontentment, we have to admit that it's our refusal to submit to God's will. Have you surrendered your will and learned to be content?

We are living in a day where brilliant men with incredible intellects and stunning credentials are making dogmatic assertions that the creation account in the Bible is nothing but a myth. The irony is that these men are doing the very thing that the devil did in that creation account: questioning, denying, and casting aside the Word of God.

Sports teams have those who are starters and those who sit on the bench. In the kingdom of God, in the church, there is no one who sits on the bench. Everyone is a starter, everyone is a worker, and everyone is important.

A day that few people think about is Judgment Day. But that day is a day when every single person that's ever lived in the history of humanity will be present. No one will be missing, absent, or exempt; not even Christians.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. God made this universe so vast and so intricate to show us how powerful He is. He also showed us His power in creation so that we can have an idea of His power in redemption; power that each of us need to get free from the cruel bondage of sin that we’ve been born into.

We all have blind spots that need to be identified and point out. One of the main ways God points out our blind spots is through other Christians approaching us about them. When you get approached or corrected about something in your life, how do you receive it? Are you defensive?

Much of modern science has come to the conclusion that all of God's creation happened by random chance and mere coincidence. But God's Word plainly teaches that He had a purpose in everything He created. What is the purpose of creation?

The Bible's account of creation doesn't fit with what many modern scientists are claiming. In order to reconcile this, many professing Bible-believers are coming up with theories on how to interpret the creation account in a way that fits with what modern scientists are saying.
