What options for finding a spouse should a single person consider? More so than considering the options, what type of heart attitude should the single person have? Tim considers these questions in this study.

Judgment Day is a coming reality for every single one of us. Our eternal sentences will be pronounced and the verdict will be final. In light of this reality, a weighty question to be asked is what will we be judged by on that day? In this sermon, Tim considers how the Scriptures speak in regards to this eternal matter.

What should we think about supernatural dreams and casting lots? These ideas are mentioned in the Bible, but how should we apply them?

Is it nonspiritual to give money towards a highly expensive building project in your church? What if the church is wanting to spend a lot of money on their building, but doesn't spend much, if any, money on missions?

If we want to have joy in our walk with God, if we want sweet fellowship with other Christians, if we want to be useful and effective in our service to the Lord, it's of great importance that we are not holding on to secret sins.

Don't be deceived into thinking you can control sin. Sin has a terrible hardening effect that will take you farther than you would have imagined; there is no limit to where sin will take you. Excerpt from, "Secret Sins".

We can think of many excuses to avoid confrontation with other Christians who have sinned against us, but we must attempt to heal every broken relationship that has been damaged. If we won’t, we shouldn’t expect God to speak to us in other areas in our lives, until we’ve sought to find some resolve. Excerpt from, "Every Relationship Right".

We’re called to unity, but not uniformity. We must be unified in the foundations of Christianity, but we must not think that all of us must be exactly the same. Christ gave us unity, but He’s also given us diversity within that unity. The more diverse and varied our churches are, the healthier they will be.

Christ gave gifts for the specific purpose of equipping Christians for ministry to build up the church. This means that every single Christian has a vital role to play in their church. This also means that “ministry” is not at all limited to the pastors in the church, but rather the role of the pastors is to equip the members in the church for ministry. What does this “equipping for ministry” mean...

We must not think that ministry responsibilities in the church belong only to the pastors. The elders have a ministry, but a major part of their ministry is to equip all the other members in the church for their own ministry. Christian, you have a ministry in the church. Many people are in distress of soul wondering if they're a Christian or not. They appear to have been saved but then are plagued with severe doubts and fears about whether they were truly converted. But for some of these people, the problem may very well be that their foundation, in the beginning, was not Jesus Christ, but something else.

Christ wants us to grow up into His stature; to grow in the faith and in the knowledge of Him. In order to do this, we must not remain as unstable children who don’t know what we believe. How fearful it is to think that a person can properly articulate good theology and quote well-known authors, and still be a child spiritually.

So many have deluded themselves into thinking that they can hide their sin. But they forget that God has innumerable ways of exposing their sin. Oh how better it is to come clean and not have to experience the painful humiliation of God exposing your sin.

With all the modern technology we have, it could be said that our generation has more access to sexual sin than any other generation in history. But this is no valid excuse because we also have more access to the Bible, good books, and good sermons more than any other generation has.

Leonard Ravenhill was a man greatly used by God in the 20th century. His preaching came with heart searching power and conviction. His life was one of spending much time alone with God. Countless believers have been greatly impacted by his life and ministry.

The world has its definition of what it thinks Christianity should be. Not surprisingly, it doesn't resemble what the Bible and what God defines Christianity as. The world is going to have a problem with biblical Christianity, and one of it's biggest problems will be Christianity's refusal to compromise on truth.

Fire can not only be quenched from dousing water on it, but it can also die just by letting it sit there. The same principle applies to our spiritual gifts. God help us to not squander the gifts He has entrusted to us.

It is when the fierce winds of trials and suffering come that people often ask themselves what they really believe. What do you believe about Jesus Christ? When you are being shaken, where do you run to? Is Christ a sure foundation for you even when the bottom is falling underneath you? Or do you have to run to other things for refuge?

Legalism is something we must certainly be on guard against. But we must also be sure that we know just what legalism actually is... or more specifically, what it is not. It is not legalism to tell Christians to stop doing what the Bible tells them to stop doing.

There is nothing in Scripture that mandates we meet in one place or another. Rather we are free to meet where it works for our circumstances.

Christian don't ever forget, despite what other blessings you may see your fellow brethren receive, God is your Father just as much as theirs.

Ironically (and fearfully), there are many people who strongly argue for things they find in the Bible, and yet somehow their passion for their doctrine ends up leading them away from Christ.

False conversion is a major and sobering theme in the Bible. How much of a true Christian can a person seem to look like, and in the end turn out to be deceived?
