On Palm Sunday we hear the proclamation of the Passion of Christ. Fr. Walsh focused today on the woman who poured the ointment on Jesus. He says, we are all called to recognize Jesus as He truly is, as Our Lord and Savior.

Fr. Walsh preached at the Noon Mass. The readings were different from the other Masses because the Third Scrutiny for our Elect took place. He challenges us to surrender our current way of life in order to have new life in Jesus.

Fr. Shenoy tells us we must be able to seek help and listen to others when they offer it. The Gospel says when we do this, we die to ourselves and will indeed bear fruit.

Fr. Walsh preached at the Noon Mass this weekend. The readings were different from the other Masses because this was a Mass of Christian Initiation for the RCIA candidates. His message was simple. As we move forward this Lent, let us deepen our relationship with the Lord.

This Lent, Deacon Nemsy encourages us to be dependent on Jesus and His holy will. He tells us that no mater how busy or rushed we feel, it is so important to have the humble approach of being completely dependent on Jesus.

Are you in the dark? Deacon Tommy tells us that Jesus gave us the gift of the cross in order for us to step from the darkness and into the light of salvation.

In the Gospel, while in the Temple, Jesus drove out those who were preventing others from coming to the Father. Deacon Dave encourages us this Lent, to look at our own lives and to ask ourselves, what is preventing us from coming to a deeper relationship with God?

We must talk less and listen more. Fr. Shenoy points out the importance of listening to other people and especially listening to God. He tells us, we must listen to God with an open ear, an attentive heart, and a willingness to do His will.

Repent & Believe. Fr. Adam tells us that ALL of us must CONTINUOUSLY repent and believe in the Gospel. It is not a one time event but a way of life. We are all challenged to look at our lives in order to see how we can go deeper this Lent.

Fr. Walsh talks about the early ministry of Jesus and says it is our goal to continue on that ministry. He then announces the annual Bishop's Appeal. He expresses his thanks to all of us for helping to make our goal every year. He encourages everyone to support all the work the Diocese is doing in our community.

In times of crisis, the heart can be more powerful than the mind. Deacon Nemsy tells us that love is not love if it is not authentic, generous, and willing to sacrifice.

If Jesus needed time alone with the Lord, how much more do we need that time? Deacon Bill encourages us to take time in our lives to be in the presence of the Lord.

In today's Gospel, Jesus casts an unclean spirit out of a person. Fr Adam reminds us that we're fighting a spiritual battle, but that Jesus has won the victory.

We are called. Deacon Dave asks us when we are called by God how would we respond? He tells us that we are all offered an opportunity to enter into discipleship with God and the question remains what are we going to do with this call.

God's call is for each and every one of us. Deacon Tommy tells us that we need to be open to the call of God. He reminds us that to listen and be open to the opportunities that God has for our lives.

Do we put the same amount of effort into our faith as we do in other parts of our lives? Fr. Adam explains to us, even when it is difficult or even when we fail we must give our all to the Lord.

The underlying message of Jesus is love. Fr. Walsh speaks about the incident at the Capitol Building this week. He stresses the need for love in today's society. He reminds us that we are called to love one another as He has loved us.

Deacon Robert Marquez tells about how the wisemen shared their gifts with Jesus. Because of whom they were bestowed upon, these treasures became even more special. When we share our treasures of time and talent with Jesus, our gifts are also transformed and are given even more meaning.

On the Feast of the Holy Family, Fr. Walsh shares his story, He talks about his family and growing up in Ireland.

Mary placed her faith and trust in God when she gave her yes to Gabriel, even though she didn't know what her response would bring. We too are called to respond courageously to what God is calling each of us to.

We are all part of God's plan. Deacon Nemsy tells us that we are all special in God's eyes and that our goal, like John the Baptist's goal, is to point to Jesus.

Deacon Bill encourages us today to realize our gifts and to use them to build up the Kingdom of God. He also reminds us of the importance of our words and actions. We need to use them to point towards Christ.

This Advent we are called to repent and seek forgiveness for our sins. Fr. Shenoy tells us, during this season of Advent, we need to take inventory of our lives and make the needed changes.
