👋🏾There, It’s EDB, that’s Erik DeSean Barrett for long, and this is our Sunday Meditation for March 20, 2022. The first official day of Spring. Our focus for todays meditation was taken from the scriptural text of Matthew 26:10-11.. (10b) “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a noble thing for me. (11) You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me.” We talk about the...

In today’s meditation, we use a moment in the life of Jesus, found in the gospel of Matthew 26:6-9. We discuss how society has not focused its attention on the right struggles.

Todays Meditation uses as a point of reference the gospel according to Matthew 4:1-11. We focus on the three times Jesus was tempted, and how those highlight everyday issues we face.

In today’s meditation, we focus on the woman the Bible calls Naomi. We talk how her story is a metaphor for the everyday working person. Our Text was Ruth 1:10-13.

Today’s Sunday Meditation for March 6, 2022 focused on a passage from the book of Judges 21:25. The goal for me was to understand the importance of true mental health, and why seeing the world through your own lens is ok.

This Wednesdays Meditation focuses on the Christian celebration of Ash Wednesday. Our focus is not dealing directly however with the moment, rather using what the moment stand for as a backdrop for our everyday struggle

Todays Meditation focused on the importance of the church. Using as a backdrop Amos 5:14-15;23-24, I talk what I’ve learned now that’s I’ve done the gutsy thing of challenging my faith.
