Hello Cancer Friends is back from a break. It's been challenging at times, but one thing I've figured out is that I need to just KEEP GOING!

It's the middle of summer. I've been on a break from the Hello Cancer Friends podcast to spend time with my family. My urge to catch up and say hello has been so strong so here I am!  Unexpected processing has taken place as well. Now what? Can I put cancer behind me and feel like my old self again?

Losing the comfort of a close friend after diagnosis was not on my cancer bingo card but here I am. This is my story of being ghosted and how I try to cope. It's raw, it's real and it sucks. F Cancer!

In a strange turn of events, I'm surviving stage 3 pancreatic cancer! Ever so cautiously I'm exploring how to live again. I've never had this type of an experience on my bingo card of life. How to imagine not dying. Learning to live. Again!

Sometimes it's not just the disease you need to fight. Sometimes it's the ups and downs of life with cancer. It's doom and gloom against hope and joy in the ring. It's hard work but taking a few swings at doom and gloom feels damn good. Enjoy the ringing of the bell, raise your glove high and live to fight another round!

I recently took a break from the same old cancer chatter inside my head. To my surprise, a small thing turned into a trigger for a wave of memories of the life I've lived. It hasn't all been roses but when I focused on the things that made me happy over the span of my life, it left me feeling content and happy. Maybe it could work for you too!

No rainbows and kittens this week. I've decided I need to let it out more often. There is no rule that says you must be polite and positive all the time, especially when you are sick and tired of cancer! It's time to say what we are all thinking! Fuck Cancer!

It's SPRING! Take a break! Cancer doesn't always offer a rest so we need to take it upon ourselves to make sure we are getting the breaks we need. Don't wait, take your break!

I love to love. It's no secret. What do YOU love? Taking some time to focus on what you love can be super helpful if you are fighting through a time where it seems like there is nothing to love. There is always something to love. I promise!

Hello Friends! Life is hard. Life with cancer is hard too. I felt myself falling into a funk, disrupting my quest for stress free living! Eeeek! One word from a friend helped me to put it all in PERSPECTIVE.

I'm not crying, you're crying! My special guest brings me many happy tears. With the gentle sound of her singing voice, I am taken to a place where there is no cancer.
