Hosea 12-13 Unfaithfulness Today we talk about the third accusation against the people of Israel, their unfaithfulness to the Lord. God repeatedly calls on the people to return to him, and when that message is not heard, judgement comes.
#296 Hosea 10-11 24.02.2025 36:59
Hosea 10-11 The prosperity of Israel was mistaken for their own deeds and power. Rather than seeing the luxury of being God's chosen people, those chased after and loved idols and other things. The judgement coming was a discipline to allow them to know God. We need to be mindful of our own wandering and ungrateful hearts for the prosperity that God has given us in salvation.

Hosea 6 and 7 We move into the second focus of the accusations against the people of God, they had no love for him. Continually calling us back to the first issue of no knowledge of God, it is hard to have love for Him or others when we don't know Him. Israel looked to other things to love and obsess over, we need to be aware of this pattern in our own life as well.
