Habby Hour!

Well, that's it for the regular season! As of recording we are in the 2nd day fo the playoffs, and who isn't there? The Montreal Canadiens. But! Not all hope is lost, tonight the gang reflect on the last few weeks of the season, spend some time talking about the Laval Rocket, go over some of the topics from the end of the season, and more!

Hey! The Habs have been losing! And EVERYONE is injured, almost. Tonight's game against the Red Wings marked the second time in a row that the Habs have been shutout AT. HOME.

Five games this week all of which leading to a shocking development... The Habs are OUT of playoff contention! Now, with only a couple handfuls of games left there is only one thing to look forward to... How the team plays! And the draft, sorta.

A first period for the history books, Drouin, Reimer, and the latest on the tank in this week's Habby Hour!

The winless streak continues! A thumping by the Avalanche put the Habs on their 7th winless game. Of course, this helps the tank, given that Arizona have now passed the Habs in the standings. With the last weeks of the regular season coming quick, we can only hope for the Habs youth to continue playing with pride.

The dreaded western roadtrip started off with a bang! But, then went the usual route. This was capitalized with a shootout loss against Carolina with WE'LL LET YOU GUESS scoring the shootout winner. We go over the FIVE games since last we recorded, the trade deadline crickets, and a few other bits of news in this week's Habby (almost) Hour!

Two games, a new player, and injury updates! After doing the usual, talking about the games and the latest news the crew spend a decent amount of time on the medical reviews of who will be performing on Arber Xhekaj, as if we actually have to know???

Four games under the belt and the Habs went 2 and 2! What else can be done with so many injuries?? The crew talk about the games, the stack of injuries that the Habs are facing yet again, some love for Matheson, and other various topics in yet another free wheeling episode of the Habby Hour!

What a weekend! The Habs returned to the ice after their bye week and made the absolute best of it by upsetting both the Islanders and the McDavids! Listen in to our thoughts on the games and whatever else on this week's Habby Hour!

Slow news week! Since our last episode the Habs played only one game, a rematch against the Senators! Aside from that, it was the NHL All Star Weekend as well as the Habs bye week. So, the crew go over what Habs news is available and then talk about what they've been watching!

The Habs didn't have a great week! In 3 games played the Habs won NONE of them, but at least they made it look convincing! For the most part... Since that game against Ottawa? Ouch. However, we did get to see Owen Beck make his debut as a Hab! Coming up from the OHL to dress in the bleu blanc et rouge.

Well, well, WELL. The Habs played two games since the last time we recorded. With one furious game against the Panthers with plenty of questionable calls on the ice by the officials and then something of a shocker against the Leafs where the Laval Canadiens took the win in overtime! That, and plenty of other talk about the Habs, especially about Caufield!

Well! The Habs seem to be turning it around! And whether or not you are on Team Tank that might be the best of news! Since our last recording the Habs have gone 3-1 against some unlikely opponents, especially with only playing 11 forwards for a handful of games! We talk about the recent successes, the ceremony before the game against the Predators, injury updates, Kent Hughes mid-season presser, a...

At least we have one win to talk about on this week's episode! Unfortunately, that came over the weekend against the Blues, only to be followed by a not great effort against the Kraken on Monday night. The Habs are keep into a losing funk that does not seem to be abatting in the least, and the whole crew talks about it, including Beth! Happy New Year! Unfortunately, it is not all that happy for the Habs at the moment as they go 0-2 to extend their losing streak to 6, and their winless streak to 7! Veronica and Dave talk about what might be going on, riff about the Subban homecoming (again) and then talk shop with shows and movies!

Not a great road trip so far! Since we last recorded the Habs have won exactly ZERO games! Dropping especially heavy to the likes of the Bolts and the Panthers who made easy work of our poor Habs. For this episode we start a bit with Twitter drama, and then get into the Habs for a while, and then back into Twitter drama, and then the Meghan & Harry documentary!

Well! That was some pretty bad hockey for the past week! The Habs go 1-3 in the most recent games, and how? David and Veronica are on in this episode to talk about just that! Also, some surprise news with the Habs announcing that PK Subban will be honored before a game against the Preds next month, the duo discuss this and much more on this week's episode!

We're back at it with not a ton of new news to talk about! The Habs had tilts against the Kings and the Flames, with one of the games being an easy one to forget while the other ended in a shootout for the Habs win! Of course, this came days before the anniversary of the Ecole Polytechnique massacre. The crew discuss this, the FIVE games played since the last recording, and breeze through the other news in this week's episode!

Another three games under the belt for the Habs as they took on the Sabres, the Blue Jackets, and the Blackhawks. Winning 2/3 and making for a pretty decent week! Dave and Veronica chat about the games, the usual Habs news, a rumor here and there, and of course mention the one year anniversary of Jeff Gorton being hired! That, and a little more, in this week's Habby (almost) Hour!

Three games to glance over this week with emphasis on what was an exciting outing against the Flyers this past Saturday! All of which continues to prove the point that these Habs have no quit! We're back on Monday nights! At least for this week! With that being the case the gang only talks about the scant news from last week's episode to tonight, and a lot of focus on the one game played during that time against the Penguins! Also, there's a NEW (?) Habs mascot???

Four games to talk about! And we rip right through them given that this was recorded right after the game against the Canucks. Habs manage to pick up 5 out of 8 points which definitely has a certain demographic of Habs fans STEAMING. Our episode this week is FINALLY available! You can blame Dave for the lateness. However, because of that, there is so much to talk about! The Habs are now 4-4-0 on the season, with Slafkovsky and Guhle netting the first goals of their careers! Beth and Dave talk about that and so much more!
