Habby Hour!

A recap of the last 2 games of the month as well as a slight recap of the month of October in this rather inebriated episode of the Habby Hour! And, don't you know, it's our 300th episode!

Another Thursday episode which comes after what was probably some of the worst officiating one could hardly expect out of a hockey game. The Habs hosted the Blue Jackets and a good deal of the first part of the episode is dedicated to the dubious officiating in what would ultimately be an OT win for the Habs. That, as well as Pinto's suspension, pride tape, and more!

The Habs are now 1-1-1 after a pretty uninspiring performance against the Wild last night, which at least followed the first win of the season against the Hawks back on Saturday! The weird schedule continues as the Habs have a few more days to figure things out before they go up against the Capitals on Saturday. All that to say, the worst news from today being Kirby Dach is out for the season, and...

The regular season is finally here! The first contest for the Habs pits them against the Leafs for what was a roller coaster of a game! Highlights a plenty to talk about despite falling in the shootout.

Hey! A rare Thursday night episode! The crew go into the preseason games so far and what the team is doing up in Mont-Tremblant. And, guess what. REAL HOCKEY IS BACK NEXT WEEK!

Training camp! Preseason! Who's been cut?? Who's staying?? The whole crew is on board for this episode!

Dave and Veronica are back with more Habs news! Now, actual games! The Prospect Challenge tournament was held in Buffalo with three games to talk about. Habs fans will have more to look forward to this week as the 'actual' training camp is starting up while the Red vs White scrimmage is this weekend!

CONTENT!! The Habs had THE golf thingy that they do every year TODAY and we finally have SOME Habs stuff to talk about! The new leadership group on the ice was verified, and the gang talked about some of the videos shared from the tourney! A lot of the conversation focused on the round table hosted by Michel Lacroix, and then a bit of the schedule ahead! And catching up on some important news from...

With only a little bit of Habs news to share, Dave and Beth go off on tangents that only resemble hockey talk in the slightest! With that being said, less than 3 weeks until preseason!

Just Dave and Veronica on this one as a majority of the Habs talk focuses on the golf tournament today AND Mailloux being cleared to play by the NHL. Just the small stuff, obviously!

So, as usual, the news is few and far between, however the Habs did announce the event night schedule for the season which includes a Pride Night! Catch that, and more (remember Club 1909?) on this week's episode!

Petry comes! Petry goes! Hughes makes two moves that seem to suggest that the cap is foremost on his mind as the off season continues.

Veronica and Dave talk about Pezzetta's extension, the Knights and Panthers, social media hooliganism, Pride, and of course, Pamela Anderson!

We're finally back! Now that Dave is back the crew can get back to talking Habs! This episode focuses on the current UFA and RFA players and what the club may consider to do with them, with emphasis on Drouin! This later devolves into talking about the Maple Leaf drama. There's also a bit of Team Canada in here, and the season finales of Barry and Ted Lasso!

What else is there to talk about aside the IIHF? And, the Leafs losing of course! The gang actually starts with a bit of old timey movie talk before slipping into how the Habs players are doing in the IIHF tournament!

The draft lottery was tonight aaaaaand... IT'S RIGGED. The crew talk about that, which Habs are heading to the IIHF tournament, and Tom Hardy.

The Habs news is VERY slow, again! However, we do know of some prospects make their way through the CHL playoffs! Unfortunately, that does not diminish how utterly terrible the success of the Leafs has been. Beth and Dave talk more about the Habs, the playoffs, and react to the Devils/Rangers game as the updates come!

The off season is REALLY on now that the Habs do not have one team in the playoffs in any league! Despite a cavalier end of season performance the Rocket were eliminated in the first round of the AHL playoffs after not being able to win a single game.
